Three day train trip through Siberia (English)
A little boy is telling the story about his trip to his grandparents in Siberia. It was not his first time in Russia but it was his first long train ride which took three days one way. He shares his impressions about railroads and Russian railroads in particular. This trip started in Moscow. The train passed through many Rusian cities such as Yaroslavl, Vyatka, Perm, Ekaterinburg, Tumen, Omsk, Novosibirsk. There are interesting observations about how does it feel to be in a compartment of a passenger car for days and nights. It is about what you can see out of the window of a moving train and what you can see during short stops. It is Trans Siberian railroad.

В город заехал буквально на 3 часа, причем вечером. 11.08.2020.
В город приеду еще раз. Мои любимые старинные дома не смог снять из-за того что стемнело, а вокзал далеко от центра и автобусы не известно как долго ходят.

Ачинск расположился у Саянских горных отрогов на берегу реки Чулым.
Город был основан в 1683 году на месте маленького острога.
Первые русские поселения появились здесь в конце 17 века, а еще через 100 лет деревянные дома,
расположенные в крепости, обрели статус уездного города.
Стремительному развитию города способствовали трудолюбие и смелость его жителей.
Используя крепость, первопроходцы шли по Чулыму на юг и подчиняли киргизские племена.
Ачинск вскоре стал административным центром, осуществлявшим сбор дани с кочевников,
а затем – важным пунктом сухопутной дороги, соединившей Тобольск и Иркутск.
В Ачинск шли китайские товары, которые загружались здесь на суда, следовавшие в Тобольск.
Таким образом, Ачинск вскоре стал купеческим городом, живущим размеренной провинциальной жизнью.
К 1834 году в городе уже имелись полотняная фабрика и шесть заводов: два мыловаренных,
три кожевенных и свечной. Развитие Московского тракта и впоследствии железнодорожной Транссибирской
магистрали существенно изменили жизнь города. Многие переселенцы,
следовавшие в Сибирь из европейской части России, обосновались в Ачинском округе.
В советское время в послевоенные годы Ачинск становится индустриальным городом.
В городе появляются крупнейший в стране глиноземный комбинат и нефтеперерабатывающий завод.
Оба этих гиганта становятся градообразующими предприятиями Ачинска.
В городе имеется множество архитектурных исторических памятников 18-19 веков.
Одним из них является Собор Казанской Божьей матери, строительство которого началось в 1826 году и
закончилось в декабре 1832 года. Позже в ограде собора была построена часовня,
ставшая достойным украшением ансамбля Казанской церкви.
Здание Ачинского краеведческого музея, построенное в 1898 году, является ярким
образцом эклектики и «кирпичного стиля», характерного для городской застройки конца 19 века.
В 2007 году здание музея было капитально отреставрировано. Здание стоит уже столько лет благодаря тому,
в его кирпичной кладке использован яичный раствор.
Здание Ачинского драматического театра было возведено в 1915 году. Первоначально это был Дом общественного собрания.
Примечательно, что именно в этом театре начинала свою карьеру известная советская актриса Марина Ладынина.
Еще одной достопримечательностью Ачинска является Айдашинская пещера, расположенная на склоне
горного хребта Арга на расстоянии 14 километров от города. У пещеры есть два входа:
естественный и пробитый людьми. А ее глубина достигает 70 метров.
Для древних племен пещера служила местом поклонения духам.
На протяжении нескольких веков кочевники, приходя в нее, оставляли свои дары и делали жертвоприношения.
В результате здесь накопилось множество предметов древнего быта, мужских и женских украшений и оружия.
Часть находок, обнаруженных во врмя раскопок, хранится сегодня в Ачинском краеведческом музее.
