This time we are going down Poljanska dolina (Poljanska valley). Starting in Žiri, driving through Trebija, Hotavlje, Gorenja vas, Poljane, Zminec in to Škofja Loka. In Škofja Loka we are heading towards Železniki (Selška dolina), but video ends just past Škofja Loka.

Laško is a spa town in eastern Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Laško. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The town is located at the foothills of Hum Hill on the Savinja River. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1227 and was granted town privileges in 1927. It is known to have been settled since the Iron Age and Roman archaeological finds are common in the area, though the precise location of the Roman settlement is not known. Today the town is best known for its annual Festival of Beer & Flowers (Pivo - Cvetje) and the local Laško Brewery, the largest brewery in the country.

Ljutomer; German: Luttenberg in der Steiermark is a town in northeastern Slovenia, some 40 km east of Maribor. It is the seat of the Municipality of Ljutomer. Na Veliki planini je še sneg, so pa zato vijolične preproge žafranov že v Škofjeloškem in Cerkljanskem hribovju. Poznate Mrzli Vrh? 987 m nmv. Sam sem štartal v Žireh: dobrih 500 višinskih metrov (čez Breznico) in dobra ura do prvih travnikov z žafrani.

Another amazing spring hike in Slovenija. Mrzli vrh above Žiri. 987 meters asl. With millions of crocuses! A bit more than one hour hike (500 meters elevavation gain) to first meadowys with crocuses.

In this video I’m driving my motorcycle between Logatec and Žiri in Slovenia, Europe. Logatec is the seat of the Municipality of Logatec. It is located roughly in the centre of Inner Carniola, between the capital Ljubljana and Postojna. Žiri is a town in northwestern Slovenia. It is the administrative centre of the Municipality of Žiri, created in 1994.

Scenic Drive from Škofja Loka to Lake Bled | Eastern Europe road trip 2019

After driving from Ljubljana to Skofja Loka, we headed to Lake bled. It was roughly another 30 minute drive to reach Lake Bled.
I think i've said this before and will continue to say it until i'm done posting all my videos. The drive is simply scenic and at times you can't help but to stop and get off to enjoy the view. It was little hard for us to do that with kids but we stopped wherever it was possible.

Slovenia Hiking - Mrzli Vrh / Пеший туризм в Словении
Slovenia hiking.
Hiking to Mrzi Vrh is the intersting route. It is not so difficult to go. The altitude difference from the parking to the mountain top is about 500 meters. The view from the peak is amazing. You can see the Socha valley from Kobarid to Tolmin. From the other side there is a panoramic landscape to Krn and Javorca ridges.
We went to Mrzli Vrh when it was a memory day for the 1st World War. Many soldiers died in that area. The Mrzli Vrh peak was the bloodiest battlefield in the Zgornje Posocje region. Every year slovenia, italian, hungary, austrian people hike to the mountain to participate in the ceremony. The purpose of the ceremony is an homage to the victims, to bring nations together and remind the global public of the horrors of the Mrzli vrh peak and make sure they dont happen again.

Поход на вершину Мёрзлый Верх - это отличный маршрут выходного дня. Подъем не сложный. Перепад высот с места парковки до вершины 500 метров. С вершины открывается потрясающий вид. Вы можете увидеть долину реки Соча от Кобарида до Толмина. С другой стороны панорама на Крн и Яворские скалы (Javorca).
Мы поднимались на Мерзлый Верх в день памяти погибших солдат времен Первой Мировой Войны. На Мерзлом Верху произошла самая кровавая битва в этом регионе. Каждый год поучаствовать в церемонии приезжают словенцы, итальянцы, австрийцы и венгры. Цель церемонии напомнить мировому сообществу об ужасах войны и о том, как важно жить в мире и согласии.
