Slovenia is a perfect place for adventure seekers and nature lovers. The longest and most spectacular zipline park in Europe can be found near Bovec, the Soca Valley in the Western Slovenia.

Velenjsko jezero - Velenje | Lake Velenje - Slovenia
Velenjsko jezero je najveće od tri veštačka jezera u Sloveniji, nastala zbog intenzivnog iskopavanja uglja. Jezero leži između Škalskog i Družmirskog (Šoštanjskog) jezera između Velenja i Šoštanja, na nadmorskoj visini od 366 metara.
Jezero je dugo 1,4 km, široko 1,3 km, a duboko 54 metara, i ima površinu od 6 km², i ima zapreminu od 30,5 miliona m³ vode.
Lake Velenje is the largest of the three artificial lakes created due to intensive coal mining.
The lake lies between Škalski and Družmirski lakes between Velenje and Šoštanj, at an altitude of 366 meters.
The lake is 1.4 km long, 1.3 km wide and 54 meters deep, and has an area of 6 km², and has a volume of 30.5 million m³ of water.

There are three lakes near the city of Velenje 60km northeast to Ljubljana.
The whole valley is a mining place. Abandoned parts of tunnels deep under the ground collapsed and land depressions were filled with water consequently. The biggest lake placed in the middle (which is filmed) sizes 2 km2 and is 54 m deep. Water is very clear and in summer water in lakes reaches over 25 degrees C. First lake is the smallest and the oldest one with parks around it. The biggest lake in the middle has beautiful natural beaches for swimming, surfing, supping etc. The third and the last lake to the west is still growing and for now it is pretty unstable so no recreational activities are allowed. Besides this lake there is the biggest thermal power plant in Slovenia.

Ljubljana, in Slovenia, is one of the most beautiful cities I have been to so thus far. I loved the city, the nature it surrounds it and the architecture it comprises. If there is anything I want to say is that I feel deeply grateful that I visited the city. It opened up my horizons and enabled me to meet beautiful souls, with whom I shared moments and thoughts.
Travelling is not only about changing lifestyle, it is a lifestyle itself. That is something I learned and It is a beautiful, mind-opening and so inspiring thing.

In August / September 2021 I finally did my first 'grand tour' on my motorcycle. My plan was to reach a certain museum in Salzburg and then decide if I like this kind of solo traveling enough to continue or head back.
In this episode I start off in the beautiful Boden and ride through the Alps towards Salzburg, my destination for this tour. In Salzburg I visit a museum that is on my list for a long time now. I decide that I quite like to travel this way and find that Slovenia is within reasonable distance, so I ride to Kranjska Gora.
