Travelling to Aleppo, Syria was a travel experience we will never forget. For so many reasons, traveling here has been one of the most intense, and humbling experiences we've ever had. Visiting only one month after the earthquake of February 2023, we saw a city in recovery, yet again. Life here and the people of this city here have been through so much. But the spirit of this unique place in an even more unique country shines through, even to as an independent, foreign traveller s and passers through like us. Travel in Aleppo isn't for the faint hearted but is so rewarding. We really hope the soul of this incredible place shines through in this video. This is what it's like to be a tourist in 2023.

In part two of the Romania series, we caught the train from Bucharest to Sinaia to visit the stunning Peles castle, built in the 19th century. Despite the cold and snowy weather, the castle's grandeur and beauty were breath taking. Afterwards, we headed back to Bucharest for an unforgettable dinner experience at Caru Cu Bere, a historic restaurant with delicious traditional Romanian cuisine and live music. The next day, we took a break from sightseeing and visited Bucharest Therme, a luxurious spa and wellness centre with multiple pools, saunas, and relaxation areas. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. Lastly, a tour of our cozy Airbnb, where we stayed during our trip. And to cap off our adventure, we enjoyed a delicious brunch at the Grand Cafe Van Gogh, with its artsy décor and tasty food.

Județul Arad este situat în vestul României și cuprinde teritorii din Partium și din Banat. SYRIA | What's It Like to be a Tourist in Damascus?
My trip to Syria was one of the most eye-opening journeys I've ever made. It was tough to reconcile my awareness of the recent tragic conflict in the country, with the beauty and positivity I experienced there... But certainly, the people of Damascus MADE my visit. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me there with open arms.
