MAP OF YEMEN

hello my friends. this is a map of yemen. Yemen is in Western Asia, in the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula, It is bordered by Saudi Arabia to the north, the Red Sea to the west, the Gulf of Aden and Guardafui Channel to the south, and Oman to the east. Yemen's portion of the Rub al Khali desert in the east is much lower, generally below 1,000 m , and receives almost no rain. It is populated only by Bedouin herders of camels.

A number of Red Sea islands, including the Hanish Islands, Kamaran, and Perim, as well as Socotra in the Arabian Sea, belong to Yemen; the largest of these is Socotra. Many of the islands are volcanic; for example Jabal al-Tair had a volcanic eruption in 2007, and before that in 1883. Socotra faces the Guardafui Channel and the Somali Sea.
Yemen can be divided geographically into four main regions: the coastal plains in the west, the western highlands, the eastern highlands, and the Rub' al Khali in the east. The Tihāmah (hot lands or hot earth) form a very arid and flat coastal plain along Yemen's entire Red Sea coastline. thats all. please comment and subscribe for the best maps. goodbye.

SUBTITLES AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH

Last year I made a video called My 3 Scariest Travel Stories, and I've decided to do a sequel because I've been in many scary situations since then which often go undocumented...

In this video, I tell you about 3 more terrifying stories that have happened to me in Afghanistan, Yemen and Libya.

Please note that these stories are based 100% on my own personal travel experiences. I DO NOT hate these countries -- in fact, it's just the opposite. When you travel to every country in the world, you're often going to be put in situations like these, and I feel like it's appropriate to share them with you.

What's your scariest travel story? Please share in the comments below!

The Black Market of Gasoline (Yemen)

► SUBSCRIBE for daily travel videos:

Yemen is having many problems at the moment, but the most obvious to me so far has been the shortage of gasoline. We've driven over 14 hours so far from the Oman/Yemen border to the city of Mukalla, and it was a wild experience every time we had to stop at the gas station.

Instead of using normal gas stations (which are mostly out of gas), there are young kids on motorbikes who track you down on the road and offer to fill up your car with illegal gasoline. The price has increased 300% over the last few years because the of the short supply.

What's ironic is that Yemen does sit on an abundance of oil reserves, but unfortunately, they are being taken advantage of by their neighbors and are unable to use much of that gas for themselves.

The Ultimate Traveller in Yemen

To see more pictures about Yemen, please visit

Since ancient times Yemen has enchanted travelers, merchants, philosophers and kings with its secrets and its wealth. At the crossroads of spice and incense routes, Yemen is one of the oldest continuously inhabited regions in the world that has not yet been touched by the winds of modernity. This fascinating country stretching from the shores of the Red Sea to beyond the shores of the Arabian Sea is extraordinarily rich in historical sites.

The ancient sites are refreshingly free of commercial ventures with an atmosphere of uncluttered authenticity no longer present at better-trodden historical locations. One of the most striking features of Yemen is its astonishing architecture. The country is covered in ancient skyscrapers made from stone and mud - where people live on top of their animals.

Every visitor is fascinated with the variety and contrasts in landscape, architecture and people: From gigantic mountains with fortress-like villages on the top of the peaks to picturesque urban settlements with houses of clay, bricks and stone; from deserts to fertile valleys; from dreamlike beaches to colorful markets filled with the sounds, fragrances and faces from 1001 Nights, you will meet the old wisdom and the art of the Land of the Queen of Sheba everywhere.

A trip to Yemen is considered an experience of a way of life long since lost to the modern world, a dream destination of unusual record, a destination of a different age.

The Middle East is my absolute favorite region in the world for many reasons, but none more than the hospitality. I actually never knew that people could be so friendly until I ventured off into the mountains of Afghanistan, the valleys of Yemen, the villages of Syria and the small boutique shops of Iran.

All I can say is that after spending 4+ months of my life traveling throughout the region, I can say that the Middle East is much safer and more beautiful than what the media makes it out to be!

Join me in today's video where I show you how far I could spend $10 in Yemen, Syria, Afghanistan and Iran. This is some of my all time favorite content, so I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I had fun making it!

#yemen #mapamap #petamap #cartemap #kartemap #mapschool #mapsolo #mapmind #mapamente
