Travel in Wuhan

In Wuhan, the scenery that is commonly seen will have a different style if viewed from another angle. In this lively city, young buskers singing affectionately are always seen in Optics Valley World. On the wishing tree in Tanhualin are full of our names. Among the 10,000-acre sea of flowers of Ville De Fleurs are the ladies who can easily pose in the most natural way. In Wuhan, everyone can find the stage designed for themselves. From live shows to leisure time, those gorgeous, colourful, and charming moments are the highlight moments of the city, and they have another time which is called daily life. (Video by Hu Yijia)

10 Best Places to Visit in China - Travel Video

Check out all the places seen in this video:

China, the gateway to East Asia, is a fascinating country. It is an ancient civilization that gave the world Peking Man, gunpowder and noodles. Visitors making their first trip to China usually stick to the larger cities. More experienced visitors to the Middle Kingdom will strike out in other directions, where traveling may be a bit more frustrating because of the language barrier, but most definitely doable for independent travelers. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in China:

Streets of Wuhan China - Daily life before the coronavirus changed the city (and the world)

These are images of daily life in Wuhan before the coronavirus engulfed the city. The video includes shots of the Yangtze river waterfront, historic buildings, a ferry service, people living in traditional neighborhoods, modern shopping streets, construction sites, a temple complex, and a food market. They were filmed on my first visit to Wuhan in 2015.

Wuhan in China has become the spotlight of the world this year, and not for good reasons. Before becoming (in)famous as the (most likely) source of the coronavirus, the city was fast becoming a crucial hub in China’s high-speed railway network. In recent years it also grew into the main industrial and commercial powerhouse in central China. It is strategically located along the mighty Yangtze river.

Wuhan is actually a conglomerate of three independent cities, Wuchang, Hangkou, and Hanyang. It was home to many historical events, and even briefly served as capital of China under the Kuomintang (in 1927). While it doesn’t boast any obvious tourist attractions, the city does have a unique character. Unfortunately, it gained international ‘fame’ as the start of the coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak.

Hi, I Am Wuhan.

Hi, It’s Me, Wuhan.
It’s the place where you can climb to the top of the Yellow Crane Tower, take the slide Milky Way in Optics Valley, dive into the sea of cherry blossoms, fly over the bridges, jump onto the wall of the tall buildings, and have a panoramic view of the most beautiful skyline. With the coolest angle of view, you can travel through the three towns, namely Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang at a high speed, and overlook neon lights show by the Yangtze River. Here at the great Wuhan, you can have a special time journey in a different way.
At 16:45 CST this afternoon, the Foreign Ministry Special Promotion Event for Hubei Province with the theme of “Heroic Hubei: Reborn for New Glories” will be held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
Today, Wuhan and Hubei Province will catch the attention from home and the beyond.

Wuhan - China’s Chicago/ One Of The Most Famous Chinese Mega-City

#wuhan #wuhanoutbreak #china

With its central location, Wuhan might be thought of as China’s Chicago — but it’s far bigger than Chicago

#wuhan lies in what is known as Central China, where it is the capital of Hubei province. The city holds a strategic location at the confluence of the Yangtze River and its largest tributary, the Han River.

The city was briefly proclaimed China’s capital in 1927 and again, provisionally, during the second Sino-Japanese War in 1937. Communist leader Mao Zedong swam in the Yangtze River there in 1966, aiming to show he was still a strong leader.

In more recent years, the city has become a symbol of capitalism, with international automakers such as Honda and General Motors building cars there. The city is also a center for Hubei cuisine; Wuhan-style food in particular is notable for noodle dishes and dry pots.

Wuhan Drone Aerial Footage_Wuhan Travel Video

Wuhan Drone Aerial Footage_Wuhan Travel Video.
Wuhan once consisted of three separate cities; Hanyang, Hankou, and Wuchang. Hanyang was a busy port as long as 3,000 years ago in the Han Dynasty. Yellow Crane Tower was first built in 223BCE and gained fame throughout China through the poetry of Cui Hao during the Tang Dynasty. Wuchang has been a center of learning for centuries, especially in the field of the arts. It became a provincial capital in the Yuan Dynasty.

Hankou was considered to be one of China's top four cities during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It was the busiest inland port, first opened as a treaty port in 1661. During the 19th century, as a result of concessions granted in the aftermath of the Opium Wars, large areas of Hankou's riverfront were carved up into foreign mercantile divisions with port and rail facilities and the area's economy expanded rapidly. There remain many grand buildings along Hankou's riverfront clearly European in design as a result.
