Early 2018 we travelled to Benin for the Hunger Project. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary in this beautiful country, working hand in hand with locals towards a sustainable end of world hunger.
At the end of our trip we got 2 days of to see a bit of the country. Visiting Ganvie in lake Nokoue, and walking the route of the slaves. Which is very impressive!
Of course we missed out on a lot as well, not being able to see some of the wildlife in the north. There is much more to explore!
Benin is a stunning country with amazing people, I can only recommend visiting if you ever get the chance.

I went by boat and I stayed in Auberge not Casa del Papel

Traveling to Benin Republic with 3subscribers.
It's was xmas period everybody was making plans on how to relax and enjoy the season while I decided to take a trip with my friends outside the country to spend xmas in a new environment and guess what guys you can have a good time in benin republic.
I will be telling you all about it but in this video I will tell you how we traveled from Nigeria to benin Republic with just our ID cards(NIN). We also booked a 2 bedroom apartment in cotonou on Airbnb two weeks before the trip. I will be dropping the link in the description below if you which to book before travelling, because hotels in benin Republic are very expensive.
There are 3 ways in which you can travel to benin republic, air, road and by water , but today we will be traveling by water because you can travel safely without a passport or get harrasted will traveling by road.
We booked a bolt from jibowo to the ferry at mile 2 for 4500naira, the ferry at mile 2 is where to book a boat from from lagos to portnovo in benin republic.
