नेपाल के 81.3 प्रतिशत नागरिक हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बी हैं।
नेपाल विश्व के प्रतिशत आधार पर सबसे बड़ा हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बी राष्ट्र है।
नेपाल की राजभाषा नेपाली है और नेपाल के लोगों को भी नेपाली कहा जाता है।
एक छोटे से क्षेत्र के लिए नेपाल की भौगोलिक विविधता बहुत उल्लेखनीय है।

This is my India to nepal travel vlog. Ep-1 I have explained how to cross India to Nepal border via Sunauli and what kind of documents are required in this video. I took a train from Mumbai to Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Gorakhpur to Sunauli border. Govt Bus charged me INR 130 pp and took 3 hours. We need to carry voter ID card or Indian passport. RT PCR test report is required to cross Indian Nepal border but you can have it safer side. You can exchange money once you cross indo nepal border. You can also withdraw money from any Nepal's bank using Indian debit card but it will charge you NPR 500 per transaction.
What are the Guidelines to travel to Nepal in 2022?
I have explained all the procedures and process of traveling to Nepal in 2022 post the Covid lockdown.
An RT/PCR negative test report not older than 72 hrs with a QR code on the report is mandatory for everyone entering Nepal. This is applicable even for the people who are fully vaccinated.

The Union of India and the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal initiated their relationship with the 1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty of Peace and Friendship and accompanying secret letters that defined security relations between the two countries, and an agreement governing both bilateral trade and trade transiting Indian territory. The 1950 treaty and letters exchanged between the then Indian government and Rana rulers of Nepal, stated that neither government shall tolerate any threat to the security of the other by a foreign aggressor and obligated both sides to inform each other of any serious friction or misunderstanding with any neighboring state likely to cause any breach in the friendly relations subsisting between the two governments. These accords cemented a special relationship between India and Nepal. The treaty also granted Nepalese, the same economic and educational opportunities as Indian citizens in India, while accounting for preferential treatment to Indian citizens and businesses compared to other nationalities in Nepal. The Indo-Nepal border is open; Nepalese and Indian nationals may move freely across the border without passports or visas and may live and work in either country. However, Indians aren't allowed to own land-properties or work in government institutions in Nepal, while Nepalese nationals in India are allowed to work in Indian government institutions (except in some states) and some civil services (the IFS, IAS, and IPS).After years of dissatisfaction by the Nepalese government, India in 2014, agreed to revise and adjust the treaty to the reflect the current realities.However, the modality of adjustment hasn't been made clear by either side.
Despite the close linguistic, marital, religious, and, cultural ties, at people to people level between Indians and Nepalese, since late 2015, political issues and border disputes have strained relations between the two countries with anti-Indian sentiment growing among-st the government and people of Nepal.Further because of border disputes between the two countries, a boundary agreement hasn't yet been ratified by either government.
How to cross the border Panitanki – Kakarbhitta (India – Nepal):-
India and Nepal have several border crossings open to foreigners. The most popular although is the Sonauli-Belahiya, due to it location, more or less in the middle of the south Nepal border, and maybe the shortest rout to reach Kathmandu by land. Also the location between Varanasi and Kathmandu or Pokhara, make this desolated and unfriendly place a choice for those how want to travel by land.But for those traveling in north east India, like Sikkim, Bengal and the so-called North-eastern states (Assam, Nagaland, Megahlaya, Arunachal Pradesh, etc…) the border Panitanki (India) – Kakarbhitta (Nepal) located on the east side of Nepal is the best option.
Being less popular is far more pleasant the Sonauli-Belahiya, but if you destination is Kathmandu you have to face a 16 hours bus trip.
The Panitanki –Kakarbhitta border is open 24 hours on the India side, and from the Nepal side from 6 am to 7 pm.
At Panitanki just ask to local people “Nepal” and everyone knows where the border is. From here you can walk until Indian Immigration Office. Not more than 10 minutes walking. The road as asphalt but you must do your walk with truck passing close to you. So if you prefer avoid some sweat and dust you can arrange the entire trip until Nepali side with one of the many cycle rickshaws.
The Panitanki – Kakarbhitta border is marked by a river, and the bridge connection the two sides is a kind of “no mans land”. The Indian Immigration Office is a few meters before the bridge, in a small alley on your left side. Anyway if you miss it, the guards near the gate will call you and show you the way.
At the Indian Immigration Office, you show your passport and in less than 2 minutes you have your exit stamp.
