Vermont Cliff Jumping 2023
Back in 2015 we had a cliff jumping meet up where things got rowdy. Little did I know it was the start of a something special. The cliff jumping revolution exploded as a result. Back in 2015 there was no way I would ever think about getting upside down off a 112ft sheer granite quarry cliff. Here we are 8 years later still showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, at 32 years old Brandon Gross and I are still progressing! Another reason this place is so special is because it's where I met Zach Steele. Funny to think we were both living in Tahoe at the time, yet didn't manage to meet up until Vermont 2015. Zach couldn't have said it any better in this video. After seeing what went down in Vermont he realized the potential of what cliff jumping could become. I did as well motivating me to become a better jumper and to take my productions to another level. Zach took his steeze to legendary status inspiring cliff jumpers all over the world! To come back and dedicated this jump to Zach means a lot. A truly special full circle experience. I hope you guys enjoy this story telling aspect of cliff jumping. We're not just fearless adrenaline junkies. A lot goes into jumping big cliffs and I truly enjoy documenting the process along the way.

MAZATLAN CLIFF DIVING CLOSE TO THE CRUISE PORT
Hey Cruise World Crew! We saw some insane cliff divers in when our Carnival Panorama cruise stopped in Mazatlan, Mexico. Instead of taking an excursion, we took a taxi to El Clavadista (which means cliff diver) and saw several dives while we were at the park.

TAHOE! We're back! We spent our last Christmas in Tahoe and actually got snowed in with the storm of the century! (17 feet of snow!) So we had to come back and experience the other side of Tahoe.

We flew into Reno and started our visit with a meetup. We're so honored to connect with so many of you and meet some absolutely wonderful people. Amoudi Bay Santorini - Swimming Spot & Cliff Jumping
Gorgeous Amoudi Bay below Oia, Santorini has a great swimming spot and cliff to jump from, just a 5 minute walk past the famous seafood restaurants. It's not a beach per se but is a unique spot to enjoy a swim in the caldera, with great views, and an adventurous ledge to jump from. There are also great caldera views toward Imerovigli and Fira from here. You can either walk the 278 steps down from Oia, that begin just below the famous castle that's popular for sunset views, or take a cab. Enjoy a meal or drinks before or after, and sit along the waterfront watching caldera and sunset boat tours come and go.

High Cliff Jumping | Most INSANE Cliff Jumps of All Time | Bridge Jumping | Cliff DIving
Cliff diving is one of the popular and dangerous extreme sport that involves highly-trained diver diving into the water from a very high, rocky cliff… Cliff divers emphasize the necessary technical training, physical conditioning, focused mind, and experience of diving, A person who decides to go cliff diving should be 100% confident.
Cliff diving and jumping is said to have originated in 1770 when Hawaii's King Kajekili commanded his men to leap the high cliffs and enter the water feet first without splashing in order to prove their courage, boldness and loyalty to him.
Later, under King Kamehameha, cliff diving evolved into a competition. Over the centuries that followed, the sport would spread out to other parts of the world. In last century, the popularity of the sport grew considerably.
Today, cliff diving is still viewed as a very dangerous activity that can result in serious injury or even death if not done properly. So, it should be taken seriously. There is always a disbelief that when the cliff diving, the diver is cushioned by the water below. Cliff diving strains the body upon impact. That kind of impact is strong enough to compress the spine, break bones or give a concussion. And that is only if the diver enters the water feet first, in a straight, vertical line. Landing horizontally like a “pancake” will feel like hitting concrete.
So, these divers first train at much lower heights and perfecting their skills to gain the necessary techniques to safely land in the water. Also they need to build confidence in themselves to leap from high cliffs.. Modern cliff divers continue to push the envelope in terms of training, preparation, and the heights that they leap from.

The world's best cliff divers gave their most: once again Orlando Duque proved his incomparable ability during the Red Bull Cliff Diving competition on Lake Wolfgang and, under perfect conditions with an audience of more than 5,500 tensely awaiting on-lookers, won. His perfectly executed triple backwards somersault and a double twist in the final round gave the Columbian a total of 343.7 points, the highest points awarded during the day.
