Mango Fruits Farming Explained step wise | Visiting a Mango Garden
In this video we are going to see Buying Mangoes at Mango Farms. It is absurd that we don't have time to buy the original Organically grown mangoes at Farm and we waste equal amount of money or more to buy them at local stores. (We don't know where they come from and how they ripen the mangoes, some may use chemicals to get that shiny yellowish color some may not). Why do we go for it when we have a chance to visit near by Mango Farm and pick what size we want and what type we want. I still consider going to a Mango farm with friends or family and kids even-though it is 50kms far from home, because we can do it like a weekend outdoor activity. In USA they do Pumpkin picking during Halloween season and Apple picking is a big thing during season, All the people visit the Apple farms and pick the apples they wanted after tasting them. It's a good weekend activity for Kids to spend a day in farms with fresh air and nature. And also local farmers don't charge much as store charges from you.
So to show you how the local Organically grown farms look like myself and my brother went to the Mango Farms.
So the Journey began.
Oh My Goodness. Mangoes, Mangoes, Mangoes ..... The two brothers are the owners of this farm and running the show by themselves. They collect the ripen Mangoes from the trees and pile them up for the customers.
Look at the piles, the pile has mangoes bitten by birds which are separated from the others, they charge half of the price for these.
Before we saw the whole Mango farm we took interview from Mango farm owner. And remember one thing richness doesn't lie in clothes and your hair style it actually lies in your life style, these brothers have wonderful lifestyle where they bonded with the nature and breathing fragrances from the soil all the time.
Let's go and talk to him.
So far we got the info about how they grow their farms from plant to tree until it gives fruits.
Let's look at the Mango farm.
Like most of the Indian farmers are doing these two brothers are also working hard and doing most of the labor work to save money and invest in the next crop.
Like these brothers there are so many farmers out there who are sweating and bleeding to grow something which feeds the people, they are not doing it for free but they are doing it for cheap because we reduced the chances of selling their products. If this continues there will be the situation where food will be imported from foreign countries and they will demand huge money to buy their items. Like it is happening now in USA, they import most of their Fresh Fruits and seafood from other countries. In USA to encourage local farming, and organically grown food, people visit local farms and buy there during the season.
It is not decision that has taken by the GOVT, it was local residents who took this decision and spread the word.
Like wise being a local person of this World, I am spreading this word to everyone to encourage local farming by visiting farms during the season and spread the joy. It is not only beneficial for the farmers it is beneficial for us to get along with nature and our kids can play without video games.

However, at the stage when they start to bear fruit about two irrigations are required. Amazing agriculture technology – mango The best variety is supposed to be Alphonso Mango grown in Konkan region of Maharashtra and Gujarat state in India due to favorable climatic conditions in the region. It is rich in vitamin A and vitamin E that enhances one's hormonal system. Mangifera indica, commonly known as mango, is a species of flowering plant in the sumac and poison ivy family Anacardiaceae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent where it is indigenous. Hundreds of cultivated varieties have been introduced to other warm regions of the world. Mangoes, raw or ripe, can be consumed during pregnancy and are safe. Ripe mangoes stimulate appetite, help in digestion, and can help improve complexion. The 'Chaunsa' mango, also known as the 'Chausa', is a named mango cultivar that originated in India. Nowadays its production occurs in Pakistan and India.
