Flying the world's longest flight! 17 hours in Premium Economy with Singapore Airlines | TRIP REPORT
At 9,525 air miles, Singapore Changi to Newark Liberty is the worlds longest flight. Actually, that's a lie. JFK to SIN is 9,585 air miles, but hey what are a few extra miles anyways? Anyhow, come along with me as we try out Singapore Airlines Premium Economy product on this almost 17 hour flight? From interesting catering, back pain, and a moody landing there's plenty to see!

About the Airbus A350 ULR (from Airbus):
With the delivery of the first A350-900ULR to launch customer Singapore Airlines (SIA), the A350 XWB Family is positioned to lead the way for new ultra-long-range operations, including on the world’s longest commercial route, between Singapore and New York. Airlines already use the A350-900 and A350-1000 primarily for long-distance flights, but there is also demand for non-stop services on extreme long-haul missions, which is why Airbus developed its new game-changing variant. The A350-900ULR – derived from the A350-900 – has an extended range of up to 9,700 nautical miles. This was achieved by integrating a modified fuel system, which increases the aircraft’s fuel carrying capacity by 24,000 liters without the need for additional fuel tanks. With a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 280 tonnes, the A350-900ULR is capable of flying over 20 hours non-stop, combining the highest levels of passenger and crew comfort with unbeatable economics for such distances.

The Singapore Airlines A350-900ULRs are specially configured in a two-class configuration and feature only Business Class and Premium Economy seating. This is a review of flight SQ21 from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in the greater New York City Area to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN).
The flight was operated by an Airbus A350-900 ULR and it is currently the #longestflight in the world, with 18 hrs flight time covering the distance of 17,000 km.
In this flight, I had the chance to review the solo seats in the premium economy. These seats are located at the last 3 rows by the window (40-42 C/H). They are ideal for solo travelers, offering the privacy of window seats and convenience of the aisle seats.
As always, Singapore Airlines delivered excellent service throughout the flight. The hard and soft products on this flight are both great.

Flying on the World's LONGEST Flight TWICE IN A ROW - 37 Hours in the air
37 hours in the air, 5 hours in New York.. I tried out the world’s longest non-stop flight twice in a row. I flew from Singapore to New York JFK aboard Singapore Airlines A350-900 ULR in Premium Economy Class. After 5 hours at JFK airport, at same gate, I got back on the same plane to go back to Singapore.
When I flew from Singapore to New York, I traveled over the Pacific Ocean route, but I traveled over the Atlantic Ocean route instead of the Pacific Ocean route from New York to Singapore due to tailwind.
Yes, I did a round the world trip. It took almost 42 hours!

세계 최장거리 직항 비행을 두 번 연속으로 탑승했습니다. 싱가포르항공 A350-900ULR을 타고 싱가포르에서 뉴욕까지 18시간을 비행 후, 다시 비행기를 타고 뉴욕에서 싱가포르까지 19시간을 비행했습니다.
싱가포르에서 뉴욕에 갈 때는 태평양 상공을 지났고, 뉴욕에서 싱가포르로 올 때는 대서양 상공을 지났네요. 42시간 동안 지구를 한 바퀴 돌았습니다.(37시간 비행, 5시간 뉴욕 체류)

The longest flight in the world premium economy Singapore Airlines

Airlines A350 from Manchester to Houston and then on United from Houston to Newark it was 2am when i actually woke up for this 10:45am flight.
I'd had pizza the night before at the Renaissance Hotel by the side of Newark Airport and it was way too big for me to finish so I had it for breakfast (2am) and for Lunch at 6am as well but it was Mozzarella with juicy tomatoes.
Between this time, I set up my camera's already to do a live stream of the longest flight in the world arrival as Singapore Airlines flight 22 which is an A350 ULR aircraft with the registration 9V-SGB.

This time, we are flying the world's LONGEST flight from New York (EWR) to Changi (SIN). It was said to be around 19 hours but the whole flight was slightly under 18 hours.
Singapore relaunched this route on 11 October 2018 on their new A350-900ULR which only comprise of Business Class and Premium Economy.
