Yes, even as a U.S. passport holder (one of the strongest in the world), I'm still spening countless hours, days, weeks, and months of my life figuring out how to get approval to visit dozens of countries.

Have you ever heard of Kuwait? Well, this oil-rich country in the Middle East is home to the world's strongest (AKA most valuable) currency. It's called the Kuwaiti Dinar, and as of right now, $ 1 USD = .31 KWD. In other words, if you go to the ATM and take out $100 -- you will receive 31 Dinars. This is largely due to the surplus of oil exports in Kuwait (they sit on 9% of the world's total reserves) -- and all countries need to purchase KWD to get their hands on this precious oil.
But what can $100 even get you in Kuwait? It's time to find out in this exciting video!

How Much $$$ to Visit EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD?
One of the most common questions I get is about BUDGETING... How expensive is it to travel to every country in the world?
This is not an easy question to answer, because there are so many factors to consider... but as I have just 40 countries remaining, I thought I'd do my best to share the estimated cost to complete my lifelong goal of visiting every single country.
That cost is about $700 per country, multiplied by 193 is $135,000 total. For context, that's the price of a new Audi R8.

Somewhere in the Solomon Islands, a giant gold mine was discovered in 1997. At the time, the locals had no idea how to properly mine gold... and now, about 3,000 people are making a VERY healthy living doing it.
From what I have seen today, digging for gold all day in this humidity (and heavy rain) is EXTREMELY difficult, but the best ones are making up to $3,000 a day. For all you math wizards, that's over 1 million dollars a year.

Hello to all my friends, family, and followers -- I have arrived safely in Yemen and I will be exploring deep into the country by myself and one local guide over the next week.
Yemen is (by far) the most difficult country in the world to visit in terms of logistics (getting a visa, planning, etc) and staying safe. I'm sure you are aware that since 2011, Yemen has been in a constant state of war. Tourists are not welcome here, and it's extremely risky for any traveler to visit at this moment -- especially as both an American and a journalist. I am double at risk.
That all being said, I am beyond excited to have this rare opportunity to take you inside one of the most hidden and raw cultures left on earth. My first 24 hours have already been one hell of an emotional ride (as you'll see in this video) -- and you will be hearing lots more over the coming week.

After visiting 191 countries over the last 9 years, I can confidently say that AFGHANISTAN is the cheapest of them all! I have spent 3 weeks traveling around this beautiful Central Asian nation, and while there are so many things to admire about its culture and history -- the affordable prices make it THAT much more enjoyable.
In this video, I take you around the Western city called Herat (with my buddy Thomas from @YesTheory to purchase several random items so you guys can see how cheap it is!
