The Best of the Congo

The Republic of the Congo (French: République du Congo), also known as the Congo Republic,Congo-Brazzaville or simply Congo, is a country located in Central Africa. It is bordered by five countries: Gabon and the Atlantic Ocean to the west; Cameroon to the northwest; the Central African Republic to the northeast; the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the east and south; and the Angolan exclave of Cabinda to the southwest.

The region was dominated by Bantu-speaking tribes, who built trade links leading into the Congo River basin. Congo-Brazzaville was formerly part of the French colony of Equatorial Africa.Upon independence in 1960, the former colony of French Congo became the Republic of the Congo. The People's Republic of the Congo was a Marxist–Leninist one-party state from 1970 to 1991. Multi-party elections have been held since 1992, although a democratically elected government was ousted in the 1997 Republic of the Congo Civil War and President Denis Sassou Nguesso has ruled for 26 of the past 36 years.

The political stability and development of hydrocarbon production made Republic of the Congo the fourth largest oil producer in the Gulf of Guinea and provided the country with a relative prosperity despite the poor state of its infrastructure and public services and an unequal distribution of oil revenues

Sustainable Mobility: Pedestrian-Friendly and Zero-Emission Cities

How can we travel more while emitting less? This has been a key question of the last decades, but CO2 emissions coming from the transport sector are still rising. So, how can we push governments to do more? How can we make people aware of the transportation alternatives available to them? How can we incentivize their use? What role can the private sector play here? This is an issue that concerns us all today, but also the future generations. This thematic program will look into solutions like pedestrian areas, low-emissions vehicles or bike-sharing schemes, while discussing the most effective ways to promote them.

After landing in Port Denerau we picked up Ashley's mom and immediately booked it to windward Lau Island group. This part of Fiji is considered the most remote in Fiji. There is no customs and immigration there hence our first stop on the main island. But hey, the harder you work for something the more it is worth it right? Well our first stop, the Bay of Islands, on Vanua Balavu, was a perfect first intro to the island group. It is breathtakingly beautiful with calm and secluded anchorages and millions of shallow little bays connected by tiny passages. It was like our own personal water world. What a start to this seasons tropical cruising! Sustenance living in the villages means every family and village has a garden and they provide well for themselves. With so much growing in abundance in the warm tropical climate we were able to trade just a little bit.

The fundamental motivation for the foundation of the Diplomatic Council was the encouragement of international relations -- entente cordiale in its purest sense. Vegetarian Society of Kenya - A Compassionate Tradition -1/2

-- OUR NOBLE LINEAGE Vegetarian Society of Kenya - Continuing and Widening a Compassionate Tradition - P1/2. Episode: 1816, Air Date: 4 September 2011.

Sport Cam Corder, helmet mount, cheap camera, better to use in the day.

$56 camera From G-market. Not good in the night, not advisable to do it for pcn. Road wise, at your own risk. Record-able, but not the clearest. For $56, its quite good. I will do another upload of the day recording next when I am free.

This camera was bought from Sinotech on gmarket, local seller, but i guess item was shipped directly to singapore from guangzhou , china. It took only a week though, not too much of a wait. Comes with helmet mount, car mount.. Handle bar mount is too small to be fitted with normal bike's handle bar. You would need a handle bar extender.

I am sorry that the video ultimately wasn't clear, and all. It would be BETTER if, the recording is done in the day.. Battery life is around 2 and a half to 3 hours maximum depending on your luck. laughs. No idea if it helps anyone uploading this video and deciding if you wanna purchase it. Here you go

Chamundi Hills is located 13 km east of Mysore, the Palace City, in Karnataka. Its average elevation is 1,000 metres (3,300 ft).

Mysore (officially Mysuru), is the second largest city in the state of Karnataka. It is also the second largest urban agglomeration in Karnataka in population. It is located in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills about 146 km (91 mi) southwest of Bangalore and spread across an area of 152 sq km (59 sq mi). The estimated population is 10,14,227 as of 2017.
It served as the capital city of the Kingdom of Mysore for nearly six centuries from 1399 until 1956. The Kingdom was ruled by the Wadiyar dynasty, with a brief period of interregnum in the 1760s and 70s when Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan were in power. The Wadiyars were patrons of art and culture and contributed significantly to the cultural and economic growth of the city and the state.
Mysore is noted for its heritage structures and palaces, including the Mysore Palace, and for the festivities that take place during the Dasara festival when the city receives a large number of tourists from around the world.
