On our recent trip to the coast, I was reflecting on some of the reasons we enjoy living in Croatia. Many people are confused about why we live here, and not in Canada, so here are just a few things I thought of to explain why.

Is the cost of living in Dubrovnik, Split, Zadar, Korčula, etc expensive? Are prices INSANE for living on the Croatian seaside? And how much do you need to live on a budget in Croatia?
In this video, I explain CROATIA COST OF LIVING PRICES in 2023 for the CROATIAN SEASIDE (including Summer vs. Off-Tourism Season Prices) for those interested in LIVING IN CROATIA as a foreigner. So mainly any potential Croatia expat, remote worker, digital nomad or anyone else looking to try out moving to the Croatia Adriatic coast for a season!
Most of this video is based on my experiences living in different parts of the DALMATIA REGION at different times of the year (mainly ZADAR, DUBROVNIK & MAKARSKA).
But I have also spent time in ISTRIA county (Pula, Rovinj) and PRIMORSKO GORANSKA county (RIjeka, Opatija), as well as other seaside towns or islands like Šibenik, Split, Omiš, Ston, Korčula island, etc.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Living in Croatia as Digital Nomads Episode 3
Join us as we get picked up by Vinko. A native here in Split Croatia and takes us to spend the weekend in Sevid, Croatia. Travel to a local winery called Vuina to stock up on wine, visit one of the oldest olive trees, buy many local types of meat and vegetables, walk around Trogir and spend settle in the night with lots of wine, cooking, eating, and watching an amazing sunset by the Adriatic sea.
This is my girlfriend Lynn, my buddy Nick, his wife Billie Jean and I’m Bobby Starks. We are 4 Americans living and working in Split Croatia for 6 weeks just for the adventure.
We headed off to our first location to a small local wine vineyard called Vuina. Sampling a bunch of wines at 9:30 in the morning is our type of trip to stock up for the weekend. Vuina wine cellar is a family winery in Kaštel more than a century old. The Winery is actually made of all the Vuina family members, which gives it a personal touch. They do all the jobs from the vineyard to the final product by themselves. We ended up buying 16 bottles. After saying our goodbyes, right across the street is one of the oldest olive trees in Croatia.
After having a few drinks at a local cafe in Trogir, Vinko takes us around the city to do a little sightseeing. Trogir is rich in history with many things to see and explore.
Having everything we need for the weekend, we head to Vinkos 3 story family home on the water in Sevid, meters away from the Adriatic sea. Once we settled in, opened a few bottles of wine, it was time to have some interesting conversations and start cooking.

I've just been going on adventures and not revealing the places I go to.
