WillowWind RV Park in Hurricane, UT is a great place to stay when looking to visit Zion National Park which is only 24 miles away. Sure you can stay closer to Zion, but this place is clean and friendly and is in the process of doing many upgrades which will make it even better. Even though you are in town, you would never really know it with all the trees and very low, really do not notice, road noise. Yet, seeing you are in town, you have easy access to restaurants, shopping, and tours.

Hi and Welcome to our Channel.
I’m Alicia and my wife’s name is Pleshette. Our doggie's name is Charlie!
We are a married couple and full-time RVers based out of Southern California. We have been on the road since November 21, 2020. We sold our house in Southern California during the 2020 pandemic and decided to start this journey a year earlier than planned.
We are nomads. We travel the roads between, to live near and play in the National Parks and beautiful spaces in these United States.
We have a 2021 Grand Design Momentum 399TH. We are 43.5' long. (Really is 44’)
And one of the things we've found to be a bit of 'an adventure' is finding truly 'BIG RIG' friendly RV parks and resorts. There are a lot of them that tell you they are, and when you arrive you find a few things that are more challenging than expected and had we known more we could've prepared.
Big difference between a 44’ 5th wheel and a 22’ truck vs. a 44 foot class A with a detachable ’toad’, tow vehicle. The maneuvering and mechanics are just different.
This video series will give you the 5th wheel perspective. In this series, we give our RV park review of the places we've stayed and what our BIG RIG Friendly review of it is.

This is a beautiful campground near Zion National Park with lots of fun amenities! The office is a lodge with a great gift shop. They also sell RV life must haves and parts, cold drinks, and a few snacks. There is a large pool and spa that are always immaculate. The campground is large and very spacious. The roads are paved and wide for easy maneuvering. There is a playground and dog runs. Our dogs appreciated the green grass everywhere! Each site has a long pull-through area, a grassy area with shade tree, and an area with gravel, picnic table, and fire pit. The back of the park has access to the Virgin River and banks. There are cabins for rent, and group areas. All-in-all, a five star park!
