Although it's been 20 years since the Kosovo War, Kosovo's political and ethnic differences remain a sensitive subject even today. In 2018 Kosovo declared independence from Serbia which was recognised by the USA and most EU nations, but not by Serbia, Russia, China and a few others. Once crossing the border I was keen to see if Kosovo had progressed... new buildings, new petrol stations, modern shopping centres, roads in good condition... just like any other country in the Balkans or Eastern Europe and no sign of the war anywhere. I spent 2 nights there visiting Pristina and Prizen... enjoying all I could of what Kosovo has to offer.

Ride Montenegro. Kotor Bay & Durmitor National Park. EP 31
Montenegro was the 27th country I visited on my round the world tour, entering and exiting there twice. My mate Achum joined me for few days ride to explore Kotor Bay. Kotor Bay has incredible views and Kotor Serpentine is a must for riders! Secondly, I rode through the Piva River Canyon and Durmitor National Park. As it was the end of October it was a cold ride through the mountains but so worth it!

Solo Woman Ride and Camping in Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan. EP 43
This video is about my little camping trip to the Wadi Rum desert. To be honest this ride was a turning point after finally getting my mojo back following my leg injury at the GS Trophy. After playing in the sand, I parked Chillie for the night, set up my tent, picked up some dry bushes for a fire, cooked a meal and admired the billions of stars in the sky. Unforgettable moments.

Bosnia and Herzegovina was the 26th country I visited, entering and exiting there twice. The Bosnian coast cuts into Croatia and is only 9km wide but still, I managed to find a magical place for the night. Later on, I headed to Montenegro, Croatia and back to Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Mostar, I was hosted by Miran from iHouse ( Miran also showed me around his beautiful city and taught me a lot about the history of Herzegovina. Further on I visited and enjoyed the ride through Sutjeska National Park. The night in the mountains was chilly but unforgettable...

The Ćiro Trail in Bosnia // Mostar to Dubrovnik // World Bicycle Touring Episode 11
We left the Croatian coast and rode to Mostar, Bosnia, then from Mostar to Dubrovnik on the Ćiro Trail. The Ćiro Trail follows the route of a discontinued narrow-gauge railway through rugged mountains and past abandoned railway stations. After riding the Ćiro Trail, we took some time off in Dubrovnik, which was a wonderful place to explore for an extended period of time.

Albania was the 31st country I visited on my round the world tour. There aren’t many countries like Albania left in Europe, where you’re permitted to go off-road and camp anywhere you feel like it. Albania is an ADV rider’s heaven, which had been on my bucket list for a long time. At the time I was still recovering from the spiral fracture in my leg and mentally I wasn't ready to get off the beaten track yet. So I stuck to the main roads, but still had a ball!

ep9 Bosnia Herzegovina motorcycle adventure | lowside accident | KTM 1190 / Suzuki V-Strom 1000
An accident of the Suzuki prevented us from hitting any offroad today. In the morning we ride off from Mostar and dive deep into Tito's underground aircraft hangar near Mostar. We then visit the Blagaj monastery under a cliff and cool off into the lake at the base of the Kravica waterfall.
Our idea of an offroad section is cut short by some diesel spilled on the road. After a quick get off we return to Mostar.
