We’ve known for a long time that the most dangerous waters for piracy in the Caribbean are through the Nicaraguan banks. Every year we hear accounts of yachts being attacked and boarded by pirates in this area.
How can we know that piracy is a real threat in this region but still make the decision to sail through these dangerous waters? In this episode, in order to get to Panama before crossing the Pacific, we are forced to sail through the Nicaraguan banks and have some terrifying moments of our own.

Just happened today at South Beach. We were out there when people started yelling shark. They swam right in front of us. Super scary!
I was ATTACKED and nearly robbed in China …
I got attacked by monkeys!! This one was Qianling mountain in Guiyang, you can go up close and personal and play with the monkeys, there were hundreds around us by the end!!!!

The day I got attacked and robbed in Argentina (Travel Video Blog 042)
This is so far the worst travel experience I've ever had: During my weekend trip to Cordoba I got attacked by 2 guys without any warning. I never got confronted with this kind of violence - I was brought to the hospital and spend around 5 hours there.
It was at some point maybe also my fault as said in the video - but bad things can happen everywhere in the world.
I was amazed by the great help I received afterwards from all the people around me - especially the argentine people have been so nice to me which actually makes me even love Argentina more!
I thank all of you guys for your kind words and support afterwards - with your help I'm now almost recovered and continue what I love to do: Traveling.

We Were Attacked By Thieves On The Streets Almost Got Killed. as we were in a supermarket Windhoek Namibia trying to pay our items that we got. this random guy comes to Julian trying to tell him how nice his shoes were and asking him how much they coasted . hardly did we know that he was on a mission of stealing Julian's phone and which he did. a few seconds Julian didn't feel his phone in his pockets. realizing that the guy was going out trying to run away. that's when we start screaming give us our phone ,a thief a lot of people gathered including the security guards that didn't do anything about it .
but we knew that it was him who took the phone ,and later on we realize they were more other 2 guys with him who had a knife and almost stubbed Julian's hand. later all a random guy says call the police when this thief had that that's when he hands over Julian's phone.
always be careful with such random people that come to you asking weird stuff.
