Why Pakistan Can Become the #1 Travel Destination in the World

This isn’t my typical video. Yesterday, I had a chance to speak in front of the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, and share with him my experience of Pakistan over the last year. I was so honoured to receive this privilege, and I wanted to share my talk with you too.

I may not be Pakistani, but I have come to care deeply about Pakistan and its burgeoning tourism industry. I strongly believe that the country has infinite tourism potential, and I can’t wait to see Pakistanis from all regions benefit from this. And, of course, I can’t wait for the whole world to see what Pakistan is truly like.

Note that I have travelled to all the places in this video, and the footage is owned by me.

Additional camera work created in collaboration with:
Salman Khan

Murtaza Ali

Abuzar Mir

Fact: I came to Pakistan and I haven't spent any money... Why?

Because nobody will let me! Seriously. Pakistan has the world's best hospitality, by a long shot.

Anywhere I go in the world, I always insist on paying -- whether it be for dinners, gifts, taxi rides, experiences, you name it. But the people here in Pakistan (aggressively) won't let me pay. It's insane!!

PAKISTAN is the TOP Travel Destination for 2020 | The good and the bad

Where I get my copyright free music ➸

What do you think about the future of tourism in Pakistan? I can only tell my thoughts from a traveler perspective and many people might be against it, but I really liked the wild and raw Pakistan I experienced during my 1-month travel in the Northern Part of the country. And 100% this will change. It's up to everyone if in a bad or good way.

I really hope that more people will visit Pakistan in the future. It's one of my favorite countries because it surprised me the most of all the places I have ever been to. Tourism is suffering after 9/11 and many businesses couldn't survive.

Let's wish for many people to come and at the same time let's wish for a sustainable and eco friendly tourism strategy so that the nature, the cultures and the wildlife of Pakistan can keep existing for many many more years.

Thanks to @marwatsanaullah and @adeelamer for the drone shots and showing me around Pakistan! Go check out their content.

I will make a movie called “Visa World. It's about borders and differences. It’s about a journey to the other side of the world and what it takes to fight global challenges.

It’s a one (wo)man production because I believe that it doesn’t need much to tell a great story. I'm doing all this to collect donations for the charity KAUGMAON on the Philippines. I know their work and it's coming from their heart to give children a better life.

If you are interested in the movie you can register for it on my website (for a small donation which goes to the NGO).

DON'T do this in Pakistan (We're Sorry!)

We made a mistake.
In this Pakistan Travel Vlog, we arrive in a beautiful little town in Skardu. After seeing so many smiling faces, I decided to have a little fun. There was a small place making naan bread, we took one to make a mask to make the locals laugh. This had the opposite effect. They all seemed quite offended that I had used bread this way. I learned later bread was sacred. I had taken my love of capturing people's smiles a little too far.

We continue on and have some of the most beautiful encounters with locals I have ever had. You can tell by all the portrait shots. It was one of the friendliest places I have ever been.

After visiting Fairy Meadows, Hunza Valley, Nanga Parbat, the Karakoram Highway, and all out other adventures, this was a nice way to continue of Pakistan Travel Vlog series

Pakistan tourism is on the rise. It's often called a dangerous place to travel. Our purpose was to spend our time, as foreigners in Pakistan to disprove this, and show the beauty of the people and the landscape to the world. CPIC Global sponsored out trip, but we did so without any security or military escorts. The only trouble we got into was bumpy roads.

While normally I solo travel, I was excited to have so many friends on the trip. Siya Zarabi from Hopscotch the Globe, Lexie Alford from Lexie Limitless, Ryan Riel from Opposite Travellers, Anushae Khan, Brooke Saward, and Alexandrina Cojocaru.

Pakistan TRAVEL Q&A (Is it dangerous/ Did I like it?)????????

Today I talk about my experience in Pakistan and answer some of your questions that I havn't been able to answer in the vlogs. In general I had the best time in Pakistan, the country has so much to offer in terms of landscapes and cities plus the kindness and hospitality in the country is like nowhere I've ever been to. Thanks for watching any of my vlogs and I look forward to coming back to Pakistan.

HAPPY PAKISTAN INDEPENDENCE DAY !!!

So, this ISN'T my BIG Pakistan video... I'm still working on that- Sorry !!! This was just something special I put together especially for Pakistan Day, to show my appreciation for the country, and not only to share to the world what Pakistan is truly about, but- to inspire Pakistanis to look at their own country differently, and to also treat their own people with higher respect. We are all human, we all deserve love, and these amazing people I met here are beautiful models of humanity. The love and energy you put out is what you will receive! I hope that these precious moments inspire you all to live a more deeper, passion and love filled life.

EVERYONE SAID IT WAS TOO DANGEROUS!!
Join me on the adventure of a lifetime across the southern region of Pakistan. Starting from Lahore, reaching Gwadar and looping back around, completing 5000km by myself. The country and region they said was full of terrorists and not safe for a solo female. Watch my first hand experience of what it's really like, what the media won't share.
*** Note; it is not possible to travel to Gwadar without security, however, I was granted special permission for this project to go alone. No, I am not government-sponsored or funded. This was a personal passion project of mine to show the world the real face of Pakistan and to eradicate false propaganda of being a terrorist country. I've seen first hand the effect these presumptions and accusations have made on the innocent pure people, and by traveling as a vulnerable solo female I wanted to prove to the world the media is wrong. I'm not pro-tourism, I'm pro-humanity and spreading love, unity and equality to all.

A huge thank you to SA Gardens for lending me the BMW for the south portion of my trip.

Deadliest Journeys: Pakistan

Heart-stopping, adrenaline filled stories and dangerous journeys.

In this episode, we follow two brothers, Khalid and Dawoud, who travel daily along the Lowari Pass – a 150 mile road across the mountains of Pakistan – transporting sugar in their truck. Ten kilometres of this road are dubbed the ’Death Tunnel’ by the locals. Across breathtaking cliff faces and with common landslides and avalanches, any error made is fatal.

[English] Pakistan Tourism Summit and Lost With Purpose

This video is in English, I might be uploading another in Urdu later on.

So a tour vlogger Alex who runs a Facebook page and also Youtube vlog by the name Lost With Purpose made some really good points regarding tourism in Pakistan and why only positive coverage of travelling within Pakistan is a dangerous thing.

Her talk was to the point and extremely practical unlike some other people. She wasn't allowed to present her points however, in front of our Prime Minister. She took to social media and made those points there. Later on, Pakistan Tourism Summit published her photos with the PM and a video of her speech which was clearly not given in front o the PM or the Panelists, was uploaded.

I think it's about time we learn to take constructive criticism and rectify our problems rather than shun people from making those criticisms in the first place.

IS PAKISTAN SAFE FOR TOURISTS

On this day while hitchhiking back to Lahore, the question is Pakistan safe for tourists arises.

Disclaimer for 9.35: later in my travels in Pakistan I received excellent home welcoming, where I was made to feel completely at home, and was treated very well.

You didn't know this about tourism in Pakistan| Who measured the radius of the earth?

The historical and archaeological importance of Nandna Fort dates back to the 11th century. The famous anthropologist Al Beruni stayed here and measured the earth's radius (and subsequently its circumference) with precision for the first time. The region has immense tourism potential. The Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken keen interest in preserving it and making it a tourism hub.
