Bike touring Germany - And why this is only the beginning!
Our Dream: An around the world bike tour. Can we pass the first challenge? Riding 1000km across Germany in 2 weeks with fully loaded touring bicycles.
In episode three we cover week two of our final big test, a trip from the north of Germany to the south. Our journey continues in Kassel where we had our first badly needed rest day. The first week wasn't exactly reassuring: we are exhausted, Arev has swollen ankles and the first proper hills are still ahead of us.
After covering over 430 kms in the first six days, we start day 8 by following the D9 “romantic road” long-distance cycling path along the Fulda river.

It's OK to QUIT A BIKE RIDE
Another weekend, another bike ride. The plan: cycle 250 km up North to the Baltic Sea (Usedom) and 2 days later back down to Berlin again. The route was amazing, the weather ridiculously good, but did I finish the ride? In this video, I share how my general rides look like and why it is OK to quit a bike ride, take a shortcut or not even start sometimes. Let's show some more light on the rides, that will always remain incomplete, unfinished or even unimaginable to attack. Because not even one of them is a wasted time and a reason to feel bad about yourself. They bear so much potential for yourself to grow.

In this episode, we are finally home to Berlin. Doreen's parents live outside the city in a beautiful area filled with lakes, rivers and forests.
