Beware of THIS in New Zealand!
Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.
They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.
This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.
If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.
There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.
Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.
Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

PROS and CONS of living in NEW ZEALAND (Auckland) 2022
If you are new to our channel, HELLO! Thanks for watching our video.
We are Renata, Josh, and Gaia a Kiwi/English family, living in Auckland, New Zealand. Josh and I have always had a love for travel, and we did a lot of travelling together before having Gaia in 2020 (when the world shut down for a bit).
With our borders being closed for the past two years, we haven't travelled with Gaia as much as we imagined, so in May 2022 we quit our jobs to pursuit our dream of full time travel with our toddler. It is only a few days now until we are getting on our first long haul (10.5 hour) flight to start that adventure.

Josh & I are both probably a bit biased towards New Zealand, as we absolutely love this country, and feel very lucky to live here. We know that not all kiwi's have the same experience of living in New Zealand, and this is just our personal opinion on what the big pros and cons are.

Across New Zealand, you'll find unmanned shops that are based on honesty. Kiwi farmers set up stalls on the roadside outside their homes and sell their fruit and vegetables for low prices directly to motorists. The farmer isn't at the stall, though! An honesty box is there where customers leave the correct amount for what they take.
At this stall in Northland, we bought two bags of avocados for just $4. Does this happen in your country? We've also heard this happens in Mizoram, India.

Hunua Falls Cossey Dam Track | Hiking New Zealand
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with us as we journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Hunua Cossey Dam Track! Nestled amidst lush native bushland, this track offers a mesmerizing blend of natural beauty and serenity.
Start at the Hunua Falls car park. Take a short detour (signposted from the carpark) to take in the famed Hunua Falls before starting your walk.
Hike along the Cossey Gorge Track, a combination of gravel, boardwalk and bush tracks. To cross Cossey Creek, you will have to wade or walk across the rocks.
Admire the views when you reach the turnaround point at Cosseys Reservoir. Public toilets are available here.
Dogs are allowed on this track under control and on-leash, however must be kept away from the dam and water supply.
To prevent the spread of kauri dieback, large sections of the Hunua Ranges Regional Park are now closed. Please stay on the walking tracks, and follow the instructions to clean your shoes before and after your visit.

Kia Ora people, which can mean hello in Māori. But you already knew that because you just watched it in this video ????????. Now you're just clicking around livin your best life. Anyway, I went around asking Americans what they knew about New Zealand and was pretty happy with the feedback they gave. If you're watching this video, don't be super critical on their responses. Before living in New Zealand, I myself didn't know anything. The only thing I knew New Zealand for was rugby and the Haka. And cool face tattoos. After learning more about their culture and history, I decided to go around and spread the good word about New Zealand. If you ever get the chance to go, don't go. Save up some money first, look into what visas you're eligible for, take the proper steps to ensure proper accommodation is in order, THEN go. Ok now it is at this point where I literally don't have anything else to say. I'm just waiting for the video to finish process and it always makes me feel accomplished when I see a big juicy description filled out. Welp, looks like it's done processing!
