2 Weeks in Paradise: Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea in 4K
We had an amazing 2 weeks during our vacation / honeymoon in French Polynesia: we went to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea. This paradise had some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced; this might be one of the best places in the world to snorkel. We saw so many varieties of fish, sharks, sting rays, octopuses, manta rays, moray eels, corals, and more. On land, the beaches and scenery were breathtaking. The islands were filled with beautiful sandy beaches everywhere. The jungle was also so lush, and did not have dangerous animals. And the over water bungalows at the hotels were amazing!

This weeks video is on French Polynesia focusing on Bora Bora, Moorea and Tahiti. Although you can fly to French Polynesia most people arrive by cruise ship.
Cruise ships will stop in French Polynesia going to and from the United States and the South Pacific primarily New Zealand and Australia. Typically they will spend three days at the islands before continuing their voyage.
During the video you will hear my thoughts and see my photography giving you a good idea of what you can see when you arrive. If you are thinking of going to French Polynesia and had not made up your mind this might help you decide if you want to visit.

FRENCH POLYNESIA travel video (Tahiti, Huahine, Bora Bora, Moorea)
As part of our Family World Tour, we spent 3 weeks in French Polynesia. This is a short video clip shoot with my Sony a6300 Camera and my DJI Mavic Drone.
I shot this on the Sony a6300 in 1080p and 4k, (Cine1, Color: Pro and some minor tweaks). Either with my Zhiyun Crane M or handheld.
The 3 lenses used are Sony 16-50mm 3.5-5.6, 50mm 1.8 and 10-18mm 4.
Graded in Adobe Premiere with Lumetri Color.

2018 Vacation in Moorea Tahiti

Post-Pandemic Travel - documents needed for Tahiti, Bora Bora or Moorea | July 2021
As of July 1, 2021, for vaccinated US citizens, here are the required documents you will need to provide to be able to board your flight to French Polynesia.
1. ETIS Receipt:
2. COVID-19 RT-PCR Test Result.
3. Sworn statement:
4. Copy of your vaccination card.
Print them out and bring with you to the airport.
Once you land in Tahiti, you will get 2 COVID tests (2 swabs) at the airport before luggage claim. One is antigen and another is PCR. Antigen one will have result in 20 minutes, that's why you will need to wait at luggage claim until the time is up. Once you are allowed to leave, go out and turn right, the 2nd right is where the Air Tahiti check-in counters (if your have a connecting flight with Air Tahiti).
When you fly back, US requires COVID Antigen Negative result, which you can get at the Tahiti airport for $57 USD. The result is usually out in 15 minutes. Then you can check in your flight.
