German: Deutschschweizer Gebärdensprache, abbreviated DSGS is the primary deaf sign language of the German-speaking part of Switzerland. The language was established around 1828.

Switzerland friends confirmed there are four languages they have been using in different regions: LSF (France), ISL (Italy), DSGS (Germany), and Latin language.

I asked them how do they communicate if there are different signs? They answered, We usually communicate in International sign.
