Know Before You Go to Walt Disney World Resort

It’s almost time for magic as we prepare for the reopening of Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, starting July 11 with Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom and followed July 15 by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We’re taking a deliberate approach that includes limits on attendance and controlled guest density to align with guidance from health and government authorities on physical distancing. We’re also using technology to power creative solutions as we develop new ways for guests to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in this unique environment.

Everything I Wish I Knew BEFORE Planning my Disney Vacation | Planning a Trip to Disney in 2020

If you are planning a trip to Disney World you NEED to know about the things I wish I knew BEFORE my Disney World vacation! Including Disney World vacation packages, the Disney Dining Plan, the cost of fastpasses, and so much more!

???? I met one of the biggest YouTube stars in the world AT DISNEY WORLD ( spoiler it was insane )

Welcome back to the Binge Travelers YouTube channel in today's video I go through all the things that I should have known before planning my Disney World vacation with my family.

One of the most important tips that I didn’t share in the video is to make sure you’re having a great time at Disney World! It’s easy to get caught up in making it the best possible experience that you forget to enjoy your time at Disney World Orlando.

I know you will LOVE this video: (surprising my cousins with their first ever trip to Disney World) ????

My first ever Disney Fantasy Cruise: (everything you need to know) ????

Tip number 1: make sure you get your fastpasses 60 days in advance! Now, it just so happened that the 60 day mark for my latest disney trip... was in the middle of our Disney Cruise! Of course we had to get the fastpasses while on the Disney Fantasy Cruise!

Now if you’re not staying at a Disney resort you can still get your fastpasses 30 days in advance… at that point you just have to take what's left but I would still recommend getting your fastpasses 30 days in advance.

Don’t wait! GET YOUR FASTPASSES!

Tip number 2: If you are someone who always purchases the disney dining plan it’s not always worth it. And if you never get the dining plan you should look into it because it could end up saving you a lot of money. So there aren’t a lot of people in the middle on this, you either love or hate the disney dining plan. No one is usually on the fence about it.

But I’m telling you to be on the fence about it! Look into the dining plan, do the math and see if it will save you money or not.

Tip number 3: Book character meals with your Disney Dining Plan. We love seeing the characters which is why we always book character meals, our favorites being breakfast at Ohana at the Polynesian resort and lunch at the Tusker house in animal kingdom.

Tip number 4: Make sure you book your breakfast, lunch, and dinner reservations 180 days in advance. This is actually one I failed on because I waited too long to request a lunch reservation for the Be Our Guest restaurant in magic kingdom, so make sure you don’t that.

Tip number 5: Make a plan! Even if you’re not a planner in the slightest bit you should at least plan the big things at disney world. On our most recent trip I made an entire color coded spreadsheet of fastpass times, show times, bathroom breaks, shopping breaks, restaurant times, and the best times to do this and that… in no way do you need to do all that, but it’s good to have a reasonable plan that is flexible, because you can never know what will happen exactly.

Thank you to all my fellow binge travelers for watching.
