Here are some average prices of groceries in a supermarket in Villa Olga, Santiago de Los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. I thought this would be helpful for those of you planning to move to the Dominican republic, or if you're curious about the cost of living in Dominican republic in 2021. This is a good representation of average prices of various food and essential items. It's a small supermercado, but has lots of Dominican and American food options. Prices at La Sirena, Bravo, Supermercado Nacional and others will slightly vary, but this will help the average expat get off on the right foot. I even translated the prices to dollars for you..i know that was an issue last time lol.
