50+ Scams to Avoid in Dominican Republic Vacation and DR Living tips

In this documentary, I interview a number of Tourists and Expats in the Sosua Cabarete area of the Dominican Republic in regards to what scams they wish to warn others about.

To be a victim of a scam completely sours the visitor's view about his/her vacation in DR or expat life, in an otherwise beautiful country with the culture and many good people. With modern communication, the bad experiences get spread quickly around the planet, something every country should take seriously if they wish to grow a healthy economy.

So by ensuring that all scammers are out-smartened by the visitors, then the money will hopefully stay or go to where it should.

In this video, you'll learn tips about avoiding becoming a scam victim to Dom Rep Immigration, police, beach hustlers, beggars, companions, tour guides to realtors, constructors, lawyers, hospitals, accidents, credit cards, taxi transportation and more...

Have a smart, safe, and fun vacation! Brgds Mr.T

8 Reasons Why Americans LEAVE Costa Rica [Why I Left]

The TRUTH about living in Costa Rica: Why do so many Americans leave Costa Rica after moving there? In this video, I explain what causes expats to change their minds about retiring abroad and why I left Costa Rica after 8 years. Some of the initial reasons that people want to move to Costa Rica include the moderate climate, laid back lifestyle, fresh and healthy food, friendly people, beaches, medical tourism, and the low cost of living. But is Costa Rica really a safe and friendly country or is it actually dangerous and expensive? Once they arrive, many people realize that living in Costa Rica wasn't quite what they expected. Unfortunately, that results in people returning home quite soon after arriving.

After helping more than 500 foreigners move to Costa Rica and living there for eight years, this video explains the top reasons why people move back to the USA and why I left, too, so that you know more about what to expect BEFORE you get there. This is the real and sometimes dark truth about living in Costa Rica. What do you think are the biggest pros and cons of living in Costa Rica? Let us know in the comments.

Discover the No.1 Road Danger when Driving in Dominican Republic

There are so many different dangers when driving on the roads in the Dominican Republic, from reckless motorbike drivers, motorists entering your lane to avoid potholes, and many more... however the least welcomed and the most ignorant is definitely the stray animals and livestock. In this short warning video Mr.T interviews an accident victim who hit a cow in the Sosua / Cabarete area while driving his scooter, and it will become quite clear what dangers you will face if you chose to drive down here, and especially if you're on a motorbike, scooter or ATV.

Drive safely!
