ROAD TRIP THROUGH THE PANORAMA ROUTE | EXPLORING WATERFALLS & HIDDEN GEMS | MPUMALANGA, SOUTH AFRICA
Since South Africa has so many long weekends, I decided to make use of this opportunity and arranged a trip to the Lowveld of South Africa, otherwise known as Mpumalanga. Mpumalanga is an incredible province and it was an absolute pleasure exploring this amazing part of our country.
I took along one of my very good friends, Ruan Pretorius, and left for Mpumalanga on the 19th of March. Our first stop was in the Kaapschehoop where we completed 2 hikes, one of which contained a waterfall! Later that day we made our way to Graskop where we stayed at The Graskop Hotel. The next day we made our way to Sabie and did a short little hike to Bridal Veil Falls. Once we've reached the waterfall we decided to do a little activity that will spike the adrenaline. So, we contacted Kestell Adventures and did a canyoning activity to the bottom of Mac Mac Falls. What an awesome experience! We ended off the day by meeting some family members next to the Sabie River and headed back to The Graskop Hotel.
On Sunday we explored the blyde River Canyon and camped out there for the night and on Monday we did a few hikes and drove to Limpopo in the afternoon. As soon as we arrived in Limpopo, we made our way to umVangati House, which was the accommodation we stayed in. Words can't even explain the experience we had there. UmVangati has the most amazing views and this is totally the place to go if you're ever looking for a weekend breakaway.
On our last day, we did another epic hike and made our way home late afternoon.
This trip was another eye-opener of how beautiful our country really is. I hope that this video inspires you to explore our beautiful country and all it has to offer.

A day trip on the PANORAMA ROUTE | South Africa
We recently did a day trip on the world famous Panorama Route in north-eastern South Africa. We visited four of my favourite places along the Panorama Route, namely: The Three Rondavels View Point, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Harrie's Pancakces and the Graskop Gorge Lift.

The Three Rondavels is arguably the most beautiful view point along the whole Panorama Route and close to the northern tip of the route, about an hour and a half's drive from Hoedspruit. From the view point you look down over the Blyde River Canyon - the third largest canyon in the world after the Grand Canyon and the Fish River Canyon.
From The Three Rondavels we drove south to Bourke's Luck Potholes, which are stunning geological formations in the Blyde River Canyon at the confluence of the Blyde- and Treur rivers. I hadn't been there since I was 12 years old and it was wonderful to experience it again.
Afterwards, we grabbed some lunch at Harrie's Pancakes in Graskop before heading to the Graskop Gorge Lift Company just south of town. Here we took the lift 51 meters into the gorge below, where a series of walkways and suspension bridges lead us 600m through the indigenous forest. It really is a world class facility, with plenty of excellent and informative information boards along the way. Even though I've never been there, it felt like I was walking in a jungle in Costa Rica!
If you visit South Africa's Kruger National Park or other parts of the Lowveld, you simply have to visit the Panorama Route!

Muluwa Lodge South Africa | Kruger National Park
Muluwa Luxury Game Lodge is a hop skip and a jump from the famous Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga, South Africa. With breathtaking views over the stunningly beautiful Mpumalanga Lowveld, Muluwa offers luxury African safari accommodation, paired with a warm and genuine hospitality. It's ideally located as a base for exploring the Kruger National Park, the Panorama Route and the sights of Mpumalanga, or to simply relax and enjoy our setting in a peaceful wildlife estate, surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
Muluwa is a few kilometres from the small, arty town of White River and is 47km from the Kruger Park Numbi Gate and a little further to Phabeni Gate. The later is recommended, at the time of making this video, there had been muggings and attacks on tourists near Numbi Gate. Bear in mind that might have changed when you view this video.
The Estate is a 15 minute drive from the airport, where you are able to catch direct flights to Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. There are also daily flights to international destinations like Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabawe and Namibia, with flights planned to Germany in the near future.
We stayed as guests of Muluwa Lodge, however the opinions expressed are my own, there were no strings attached to our stay.

Mpumalanga weekend away| Travel Vlog
This is my first travel Vlog and it was really exciting to be in Mpumalanga, such a beautiful place. It's really greeny and the Air there is crisp, I went with my Boyfriend for two nights

Humala river lodge is situated within the songimvelo game reserve in Mpumalanga, South Africa.
The reserve aims to preserve plant and animal biodiversity- its a good place to be in touch with nature.

There's something to be said about getting lost in the open road. To be still (well relative to the motion of the car) and let the road whisk away all the heaviness your shoulders carry. You do not even need a destination just a vehicle that can drive at least 120km/h to take you there.
Growing up, a Siyaya super 16, with a fire playlist (usually old school RnB) was my favourite place to be whenever we were travelling long distance. Even as a kid I could appreciate the serenity of the open road. With this vlog I aim to capture the same feeling that the road and the playlist have on me.

ROADTRIP TO KRUGER NATIONAL PARK | MPUMALANGA SIGHTSEEING | SOUTH AFRICAN YOUTUBERS
We went on a very spontaneous and random road trip to Skukuza and the Kruger National Park. Although we didn’t see a lot of game, the drive and open roads still gave us some pretty good views. That’s how nature is though right?! You never know what you’re gonna get! :)
