Myanmar trip part XVIII . Governor’s House ( Pyin Oo Lwin ) 4K
We went to Pyin Oo Lwin National Lake Park to take some photos in the morning and then went to the Governor's House. If you go inside the Governor's House, you have to pay 10,000 kyats as an entrance fee, and you are served juice or coffee and snacks. If you don't go inside the house and look around the grounds and take pictures, you don't have to pay. It is a place you should visit when you visit Pyin Oo Lwin Town
ပြင်ဦးလွင် အမျိုးသား ကန်တော်ကြီး ဥယျာဉ်ကိုခဏဝင်ဓာတ် ပုံရိုက်ပြီး Governor's House ကိုသွားခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။Governor's House အထဲကို ဝင်ရင် ဝင်ကြေး တစ်ယောက် ကို တစ်သောင်းပေးရပြီး juice or coffee and snacks ပြန်ကျွေးပါတယ်။အိမ်ထဲ မဝင်ဘဲ ခြံဝန်းထဲမှာ လှည့်ကြည့်ပြီး ဓာတ်ပုံရိုက်ရင်တော့ ပိုက်ဆံမပေးရပါဘူး။ပြင်ဦးလွင်ရောက်ရင် သွားရောက် လေ့လာသင့်တဲ့ နေရာ တစ်ခုပါ။

Exploring Beautiful Myanmar (Burma) - Yangon and Pyin Oo Lwin
Myanmar, formerly known as Burma is a country in Southeast Asia. I love its unique culture, must-see nature attractions, and friendly and hospitable Burmese people.
However, in 2013, the Philippines didn't have the right to visa exemption yet, so planning a trip to Myanmar was indeed challenging. I thought it was the same in Thailand where we can get a visa on arrival. We were supposed to fly from Singapore but we weren't allowed to board the plane because we didn't have a visa. I tried to rebook our flight when we're still in Singapore hoping that we can get a Myanmar visa that day. Fast forward, we flew back to the Philippines and booked another flight. So the trip was three times more expensive, but it was all worth it.
Special thanks to my brother, sister-in-law, and to all those families who warmly welcomed and accommodated us during this trip. Until next time. :)

Today, we moved to Mandalay from Pyin Oo Lwin by taking minvan. The 40.5 mile trip from Pyin Oo Lwin to Mandalay take around an hour and a half. We had to pay 10,000 Ks a person for the bus fare. At the late afternoon, we explored to the Chinatown Night Market.
