What we eat in a day while travelling through Morocco as vegans ???? Today we are spending the day exploring the ancient medina and eating a ton of food along the way. We start the day eating Bessara (Moroccan fava bean soup) with Moroccan mint tea. Then we head into the spice market, buy some dried fruits and stop for a fresh juice at Jemaa el-Fna where Eamon decides to try life as a local for a few hours. Just as we felt the lunchtime hunger setting in we found ourselves in a very local area of the Marrakech called Tala where we try lentils and fava beans with... BREAD ???? ! One of our favourite stops was a visit to the community bakery and from there we tried a freshly squeezed pomegranate juice. At lunch, we tried vegetable tagine, couscous, a bunch of salads and flatbread with chocolate and honey for dessert. Before dinner, we stopped for Moroccan desserts. In the evening, we hit the night market Jemaa el-Fna to see if we can find the most special man from our time in Morocco in 2020. Eamon, Lee and I met Happy and his team and I was so happy to reconnect ????

After eating Hout Quari, a sardine burger that tastes like meat, we ended our tour with a bonus stop at Chez Lamine Hadj Mustapha where we ate a portion of juicy lamb and the craziest dish of the day: Sheep's head!

Going DEEP For Street Food in Morocco - BREAKFAST Tour of Marrakech!

My new blog:
Check out for 3 months free w/ 1 year pack and 49% OFF! Today, we're GOING DEEP for a FULL-on Street Food BREAKFAST Adventure of Marrakech, Morocco! Moroccan Street Food is some of the BEST in the WORLD, and today, we're going bright and early for a TASTY breakfast tour of Downtown Marrakech, trying a ton of delicious Moroccan street food for breakfast!

► The BEST VPNs for China:

In Marrakech, there is a ton of amazing street food on every street corner. We travelled to Morocco solely to eat, and chose Marrakech because we heard the food is amazing and that the people are friendly. When we arrived, we started to explore the souq alleyways near Jama El Fna square in downtown Marrakech. What you can find in the souqs will blow you away. There is so many different Moroccan street foods to try. We quickly discovered that Morocco has some of the best street food in the world. So tasty!

First up, we found a friendly Bissara soup vendor who let us film this street food vlog and was happy to serve us. The Bissara soup is a fava bean aka broadbean soup served with bread for breakfast. It was scooped out of a big pot and served by bowl to all the hungry locals. This man was definitely a character, and super friendly too. He gave all the local Moroccans a free bowl if they couldn't afford it.

Next, we went for another local street food in Morocco, the Hassowa. It was a super strong, almost spicy soup made from oregano and semolina. The man who served this street food in Marrakech had served this for 16 years in the streets of the old Medina in Marrakech.

After this, we went for more Moroccan breakfast and ordered a Msemen moroccan flatbread. It was served with a ton of butter and honey and was super oily yet crispy at the same time. The lady who cooked it was also very friendly and was making a ton of the msemen for the hungry locals!

For our next breakfast meal, we enjoyed a truly classic Moroccan breakfast street food, the Khlea. The Khlea is a moroccan omelette made with 2 or 3 eggs and a few slices of Khlea preserved beef with smen moroccan preserved butter. It was super heavy and a little salty from the butter and beef.

And for our final meal, while not quite breakfast, was a Moroccan tajine made with beef and carrots and potato and zuchinni, found right on the street!

The addresses for the street food locations found in this street food vlog are below:

1) Bissara soup vendor: Bab doukkala area of Marrakech. You can find a ton of guys around the wall in the morning selling it.

2) Hassowa soup vendor: Near the Jama El Fna square of old Marrakech. This one was just a lucky find, you gotta go deep into the alleyways to find stuff like this.

3) Msemen Moroccan flatbread. You can find this one again in the back alleyways. Right behind the olive guys at the back of the Jama El Fna square in the morning for breakfast.

4) Khlea egg omelette with preserved beef and smen butter. We found this one at a local cafe called Zeitoun Cafe AKA the olive cafe in the Medina of Marrakech.. I must admit it was a little tourist and maybe less DEEP than other places, but the omelette was nice and tasty.

5) Delicious Moroccan Tajine DEEP in the streets. This one was also near the Bab doukkala area of Marrakech. You can find a street full of restaurants selling everything from these tajines to grilled BBQ fish and more. It was amazing!

It’s going to be an exciting day of Moroccan street food in Marrakesh!

A huge thank you to Moroccan Food Tour ( for arranging my trip to Morocco!

Breakfast - We started with breakfast donuts - known as sfenj - the dough is made into a ring by hand and deep fried. I especially loved the ones that are flattened and then filled with an egg on the inside. Next we had bisarra - Moroccan fava bean soup, which was delicious.

Zaazaa - Next up we stopped in a fruit shop and had a deluxe avocado milkshake with all sorts of toppings.

Chez Omar Sandwich Mixte - One of the highlights was Chez Omar Sandwich Mixte who makes classic Moroccan fast food sandwiches made with a mix of meats and onions and coriander all sizzled in oil on a hot plate. It’s a Moroccan street food you have to eat when you’re in Marrakesh. And it costs just 15 MAD ($1.49 USD)!

Continuing with this street food tour, we had some refreshing pomegranate juice, Loubia - Moroccan stewed white beans, and did some olives tasting.

Chez Lamine - Nothing is more famous in Marrakesh than Chez Lamine for their Mechoui - Moroccan pit roasted lamb. It’s quite a scene with all the lambs roasting in an underground oven.

Restaurant Tiznit - Full of lamb we headed to the next restaurant to try a Rabbit Tagine - Rabbit and raisins slow cooked in a clay pan, and another must eat dish in Marrakesh; Beef Tangia - Beef and spices slow cooked in clay vase.

CRAZY $10 Moroccan Street Food Tour in Marrakesh Morocco!

Welcome to Marrakesh Morocco! In this Marrakech Morocco Vlog, I take you with me as I discover the city of Marrakesh and take you on the BEST Moroccan street food tour! But, the twist is that I am challenging myself to try all the best Moroccan food in Marrakesh for under $10, or 90 Moroccan Dirham. I hope you enjoy my Marrakesh Morocco Vlog and learn about the delicious street food of Morocco and the best food to try in Marrakech!

To start off my Marrakech Morocco Travel Vlog, I walk into the Marrakesh Medina in search of a traditional Moroccan breakfast. My first stop on my Marrakech Street Food Tour was to a small stand to get some Bessara, which is a traditional Moroccan fava bean soup. After pouring in the soup, the vendor added a heavy dose of oil and the Bessara is served with a pita bread and, of course, a traditional Moroccan sweet mint tea. After eating as much as I could of the Bessara (it was delicious, just so heavy), I continued walking around the Marrakech Medina. The next stop on my Marrakech Morocco Vlog and my Morocco Street Food Tour was to a try a crepe! The Moroccan Crepe was delicious, though quite a bit thicker than the French crepe. If you visit Marrakesh Morocco, or anywhere in Morocco for that matter, you will find tons of pomegranate juice stands, and after 2 street food stops, I knew it was time to quench my thirst with a local Moroccan pomegranate juice. So, the next stop on my Marrakesh Morocco Vlog, and my $10 challenge in Marrakech, was to get some freshly squeezed pomegranate juice and, oh boy, was it good!

After my pomegranate juice I continued to roam the Medina until I was ready to continue my Morocco Street Food Tour in Marrakesh Morocco for lunch! The next stop on my Marrakech Street Food tour was to try some traditional Moroccan tagine/tajine. Tagine is perhaps the most popular dish in Morocco and is a must try! Tagine/Tajine is the way the dish is cooked and the pot that is used to cook the ingredients, so there are many types of Moroccan Tagine. No Morocco Street Food Tour is complete without a tagine! After eating a delicious Moroccan Tajine, the next stop on my Marrakesh Morocco Vlog was just a few steps away to a local juice spot where you can get a mix of fresh fruit and vegetable juices for a great price!

The next stop on my Morocco Street Food Tour and one of the most popular Moroccan foods was to a local stand in the Marrakech Medina that sells Kefta. Kefta is a traditional Moroccan dish of minced meat. Next on my Marrakech Morocco Vlog and the next top on my Morocco street food tour was to try some Moroccan doughnuts, also known as Sfenj! These Moroccan donuts were absolutely delicious, I even got 2! The dough is fried fresh and then doused in honey for a sweet flavor. The Moroccan doughnuts were also great for my $10 challenge in Marrakesh!

After sunset, it was time to explore the main square in Marrakesh Morocco, Djemaa el Fna, which at night turns into a huge market where you can try all types of Moroccan food! No Marrakech Morocco Travel Guide and Marrakech Street Food Tour is complete without visiting Djemaa el Fna! The first stop at night on my Marrakesh Morocco Vlog was to a vendor in the Djemaa al Fna square to get some Moroccan snail soup, also called Ghoulal or Babbouche. It was my first time ever eating snails! After eating a few snails, the next stop on my Moroccan Street Food Tour in Marrakesh Morocco was to try some local Moroccan soup called Harira Soup. Harira soup is a tomato based soup with chickpeas, and was super tasty! After the Harira soup, I continued on indulging in Moroccan food with a pita sandwich and capping the night off with some spiced tea and sweets!

Exploring Marrakesh Morocco through a street food tour is potentially the best way to get to know this wild city! I hope you enjoyed my Marrakech Morocco Vlog and my Morocco Street Food Tour!

My new blog:
Check out for 3 months free w/ 1 year pack and 49% OFF! Today, we're going DEEP into the heart of downtown Marrakech, to try some AMAZING Moroccan Street Food. You can explore with us as we explore Jamaa el fnaa, the main square in downtown Marrakech.

► The BEST VPNs for China:

This was my first time traveling to Marrakech, Morocco, and I fell in love with the atmosphere and Moroccan street food scene immediately. In Marrakech, there is an old atmosphere that makes you feel like you're walking into an ancient movie.

First, we are trying some amazing Moroccan lamb. It had some delicious Moroccan spices and seasonings and was extremely juicy. Our friend Firas brought us to stall #13 in Jama el Fna. They also had another classic Moroccan food, the Tanjia. This was huge chunks of moroccan lamb put into a clay pot and boiled with smen (moroccan preserved butter) and preserved lemons. It was extremely tender and juicy and flavoured really well with moroccan spice and seasonings like salt and cumin and dipped with bread.

And of course, in Jama Al Fna there was a lot of other moroccan foods like Moroccan Tagine, Merguez sausages, fresh orange juice, snail soup (which was delicious!), and of course Moroccan mint tea!

If you visit Morocco, make sure to come to the downtown Jamaa Al Fnaa square in Marrakech. The food here was super delicious and the energy was amazing, especially on your first night right after coming off the plane! That rush is amazing!

The Morocco Street Food that we found in this street food vlog is listed below:

1) Morrocan Tanjia, steamed meat, and sheep head:
Found at stall number 13 in Jamaa Al Fna

2) Amazing Moroccan Snail Soup (Bebouch) - We found this one at stall #5.

3) Fresh glass of Moroccan Orange juice - Stall #19.

RABAT, MOROCCO - Today we’re in the capital city of Morocco - Rabat and we’ll be going on a Moroccan street food tour to eat our way through the old town and finish with a huge and impressive home-cooked meal. Rabat is not only the political capital of Morocco, but it’s also a food capital of Morocco!

A huge thank you to Moroccan Food Tour ( for arranging my trip to Morocco!

We started off this tour today with some street food snacks around Old Rabat. We had Rziza - Moroccan string bread, Chebakia - sweet honey pastry, sandwiches with a mix of meat and sausage all sauteed down with onions and cilantro and spices on a hot griddle, fried sardines with fried potato cutlets, and one of the tastiest Moroccan street foods - steamed cows head!

Dar El Medina - For lunch Mohammed took us to a restaurant without Old Rabat that specializes and preserves traditional Moroccan food. We had some of the real classics of Moroccan cuisine like Kefta Mkawra - Meatballs in tomato sauce, Beef Tagine - Beef with prunes, Chicken Tagine - Chicken, olives, and preserved lemon, and not forgetting couscous with beef, chickpeas, and raisin onions. Many dishes were cooked in a tagine, a traditional Moroccan and North African earthenware pan.

Dinner at Mohamed’s Home - Tonight it was an honor to have dinner at Mohamed’s home, where his Mom and family cooked for us one of the most memorable meals of our entire trip to Morocco. We started with a giant salad, followed by a platter of chicken, and a literal surfboard sized platter of fish. It was outstanding, and made me realize that some of the best Moroccan food is at local homes.

Again, a huge thank you to all my friends from Moroccan Food Tour ( for arranging this amazing trip to Morocco.

Much more Moroccan food coming!

Moroccan Street Food ???????? Night Market Tour in Marrakesh, Morocco (Jema El Fnaa Square)

???????? Morocco Street Food in Marrakesh:
???? T-shirts:

MARRAKESH, MOROCCO - One of the most thrilling places to eat Moroccan street food in the entire country is in Jema El Fnaa Square at night! So tonight we’re going on a Moroccan food tour to eat a few of the must eat dishes you have to try.

A huge thank you to Moroccan Food Tour ( for arranging my trip to Morocco!

Jema El Fnaa Square is a UNESCO world heritage site, and a place where people have gathered together for hundreds of years to tell stories, perform, snake charm, have food, and play instruments. It’s truly one of the most fascinating squares on earth. While daytime is calmer, at night you’ll find an abundance of street food and performer and so after a full Marrakesh street food tour in the daytime ( we’re going on an ultimate night market street food tour!

We first started with Harira, a porridge soup with tomato, lentils, and herbs. It’s a hearty dish, and really warm and comforting. Along with it, you can eat dates, chebekia sweets, or my preference for msemen - Moroccan stuffed flatbread.

Here are the other places I tried:

Hassan Snails, Stall #3 - Amazing Marrakesh herbal snails
Chez Krita, Stall #14 - One of the oldest stalls at the market, and famous for seafood
Lamb Head, Stall #50 - Can’t go to Jema El Fnaa Square without a lamb head!
Chez Abdelouahed, Stall #66 - Iconic and extremely popular potato and egg sandwich
Chez Hassan, Stall #70 Herbal Tea

Jema El Fnaa Square is an overdose of everything - from music and dance, to a festival of tasty food, there are few places on earth more exciting if you love to eat!
