South Sudan: We Made it Through All Checkpoints! (Harassed by Military) ????????
South Sudan proved to be my most challenging filming expedition yet. Each time I raised my camera or phone to capture moments, tensions flared – anger, shouts, and hostility followed. Undeterred, I set out on a second attempt to venture beyond the city limits of Juba today. This time, armed with government paperwork, approval letter, a bit of bribe money (which was needed), and the invaluable company of a Mundari Tribe member riding in our back seat, the dynamics shifted. Join me on an exhilarating road trip through South Sudan, where every turn uncovers a thrilling and unexpected adventure.

THIS IS CRAZY!! Sorry Dutch people, you are not the tallest in the world. Not even close! You guys will not believe how tall the people are in South Sudan! Like EVERYONE on the streets of Juba (South Sudan's capital) is well over 6 feet tall, and many over 7 feet - even the females! It's one of the most unbelievable features of mankind that I've ever seen anywhere on this planet.

In 2011, Sudan broke into 2 separate countries. Sudan in the north and South Sudan in the South... They are completely different in every way possible.
I have spent the last 48 hours in Juba, the capital city of South Sudan, and it has been one of the most interesting and eye opening trips of my entire life.
Thankfully, was able to get in touch with some awesome locals through social media and they've been showing me around and making sure I'm safe. I say this because South Sudan is not the safest country around Africa -- it's been in a constant state of war since its existence 8 years ago. But things now seem to be much more stable than the past, and the future is bright for this oil rich country in Central/East Africa.
