LUMINOUS BEST VIEWING SPOTS
uminous can be enjoyed from almost anywhere around the lagoon, but closer views to the railing are preferred for the full effect of fountains and effects:
- Showcase Plaza: Offers a perfectly centered view. Arrive about an hour early to secure a spot. Note that parts of Spaceship Earth lighting up might not be visible from here.
- Entrance to World Showcase: Provides a straight-on view with less stress for claiming a spot. It's further back and partially obstructed by trees, but allows for a quick exit.
- Japan and The American Adventure Pavilion: Offers a great view for all fountain effects and Spaceship Earth lighting up. The second floor of Mitsukoshi Department Store in Japan is particularly good, but space is limited.
- Italy: The area jutting out into the lagoon and the bridge offer elevated views. Be aware of potential reservations for special events.
- Other Good Spots: La Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, between Mexico and Norway, the International Gateway Bridge, and between Canada and the U.K.
- Accessible Viewing Areas: Located in the U.K., between Italy and Germany, and on both sides of the central World Showcase Plaza. These fill up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Unconventional Spots: Certain pavilions like China offer less crowded views but are obstructed. World Celebration offers far-away views, and watching from the park entrance is not recommended due to obstructions.

SHORT VERSION:
- Early theme park entry and rope dropping are not recommended.
- It's best to visit during the last two hours before the park closes.
- If you can't wait until then, I recommend queuing between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, or late afternoon/early evening.
FULL VERSION:
This attraction is difficult to plan for due to its low ride capacity and popularity among guests of all ages, resulting in consistently busy wait times throughout the day. It's available for purchase using the Individual Lightning Lane selection service (ILL); while I'm not a big fan of paying to skip queues, this is one instance where you might consider it worthwhile. Here's a link to a guide on this service if you're not familiar:
As mentioned in the video, arriving early for theme park entry doesn't necessarily reduce wait times. You'll need to arrive at the fantasyland entrance 30 minutes before the park opens to resort guests. At opening, it's a mad dash to the queue, which isn't where you'd expect it. In the morning, people will queue outside the entrance, curving towards Storybook Circus. I recommend swiftly walking towards Storybook Circus to enter the queue, which fills up quickly. You'll see many people realising their mistake and trying to jump the queue shortly after.
Both early theme park entry and rope dropping this attraction are unpleasant ways to start the day, especially when you consider how early you need to arrive at the park. The best time to queue is in the last two hours before park closes, which isn't practical for most guests. Assuming you're not going to pay for ILLs, I'd recommend biting the bullet and queuing around 11:30 AM. The queue will be long, but so will those for most other attractions, so it might be worth taking the hit then and using the earlier hours for other attractions where queues will be drastically shorter. Alternatively, you can queue in the late afternoon or early evening (but with similar wait times), but you might consider that time better spent elsewhere. Good luck!

Virtual Tour of Walt Disney World Resort (2020)
The Walt Disney World Resort, also called Walt Disney World and Disney World, is an entertainment complex in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, in the United States, near the cities Orlando and Kissimmee. Opened on October 1, 1971, the resort is owned and operated by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, a division of The Walt Disney Company. It was first operated by Walt Disney World Company. The property covers nearly 25,000 acres (39 sq mi; 101 km2), of which only half has been used. The park comprises four theme parks (consisting of Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom), two water parks, 27 themed resort hotels, nine non-Disney hotels, several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment venues, including the outdoor shopping center Disney Springs.
Designed to supplement Disneyland, in Anaheim, California, which had opened in 1955, the complex was developed by Walt Disney in the 1960s. The Florida Project, as it was known, was intended to present a distinct vision with its own diverse set of attractions. Walt Disney's original plans also called for the inclusion of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT), a planned community intended to serve as a testbed for new city-living innovations. Walt Disney died on December 15, 1966, during the construction of the complex. Without him spearheading the construction, the company built a resort similar to Disneyland, abandoning the experimental concepts for a planned community. The Magic Kingdom was the first theme park to open in the complex, in 1971, followed by Epcot (1982), Disney's Hollywood Studios (1989), and Disney's Animal Kingdom (1998).
Today, Walt Disney World is the most visited vacation resort in the world, with an average annual attendance of more than 52 million. The resort is the flagship destination of Disney's worldwide corporate enterprise and has become a popular staple in American culture.

Walt Disney World Driving Tour World Drive to Magic Kingdom, Epcot Hollywood Studios Animal Kingdom
Join me as we take a scenic drive through Walt Disney World. This video consists of 5 different driving routes focusing mostly on World Drive and the construction that was done at the Magic Kingdom toll booth area back in 2017/2018. We'll go through all 4 parks toll booths, see Spaceship Earth, Hollywood Tower of Terror, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Space Mountain, Tron ride (under construction), Characters in Flight saloon, Disney Springs parking garages, the Skyliner, monorail and more.
Route 1: Begins on World Drive towards the Magic Kingdom and through the toll booth, around the former Walt Disney World Speedway, merging onto Floridian Way. I then take World Drive to Osceola Pkwy and into Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Route 2: World Drive to Osceola Pkwy towards Disney's Animal Kingdom, through the toll booth and then make a U-turn back onto Osceola Pkwy, turn right on World Drive and drive into Epcot.
Route 3: World Drive towards the Magic Kingdom and turn right onto Vista Way past Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground entrance. Turn right on Bonnet Creek Pkwy, then right on Buena Vista Dr until turning right on Epcot Resorts Blvd and it loops back around to Buena Vista Dr. I then turn right on Buena Vista Dr and drive towards the All-Star resorts entrance before making a U-turn and ending at McDonald's.
Route 4: Begins on W Buena Vista Dr just after McDonald's and I stay on it past Disney Springs until Hotel Plaza Blvd and I take it to 535 and turn right. You'll see the Crossroads Shopping Center straight ahead.
Route 5: Begins on Osceola Pkwy and turn right onto World Drive heading towards Disney's Contemporary Resort and going straight where you'll see Space Mountain and the Tron ride being built. I turn on Floridian Way and take it all the way back to World Drive towards Interstate 4.
