Walking in the rain, Manhattan, New York. Binaural rain and city sounds in NYC. This is the video where my 3rd gimbal gets destroyed, this time by the rain. This rain video was spontaneous as I went to BH Photo to purchase a few camera lenses. As I was leaving it started pouring rain. The entire time I'm filming I'm carrying 2 shopping bags. I started to throw this video away like many of the videos that I do, but what the hell. My original goal was to make it to Times Square, but the gimbal was totally broken by then. Another evening of heavy rainfall and some thunder sounds while walking in Manhattan New York City toward the video. NYC Night Flash Flood Warning - Times Square, New York 4K
NEW YORK CITY l Walking in the Historic heavy Rainfall in Times Square, Midtown Manhattan, New York.
Filmed on September 1st around 9pm, 2021.
Hurricane Ida was the worst natural disaster to strike New York and New Jersey since 2012's Superstorm Sandy. The intense downpour caused flooding throughout the city, as well as the first flash flood emergency ever to be issued in New York City.
This video contains intense noises of wind, rain or siren, so please be careful about the volume when watching it putting on headphones or earphones.

Returned from Switzerland to be welcomed by some extremely cold weather on the East Coast. Walking in the rain, Manhattan, New York. Binaural rain and city sounds in NYC. About halfway through the video the rain starts to become snowfall. It's funny how I never really plan to make these videos. I was actually walking from B&H, but I know people like NYC. Sorry, I didn't have my better camera with me. But it's probably for the better. The streets were so congested.

Stormy Cityscape and Rainy Night in Manhattan, New York for sleep and study. The rain didn't last very long, but there was still some good thunder sounds. Video was filmed at 27 stories for the view but audio was captured at 15 stories for better listening. For privacy purposes many of the windows in this video with a lot of activity have been converted to still images. This video has a view of Midtown facing North during a thunderstorm. New York City Ambience, Penthouse View | City Sounds for Sleep | Some Rain and Thunder | 10 Hours
10 Hours of cityscape city sounds in Manhattan, New York from sunset until early the next morning. There is some rain and thunder in the video as there was a quick thunderstorm during the night. I'll add a few timestamps in the comment sections. I recorded a total of 2 nights to make this video. About 50% of the sounds were recorded at a lower level of the video to capture some street-level sounds. Although this view is beautiful, many of the sounds can drown out at that height to the point is all you can hear are condenser units. With that being said, not 100% will be in sync, but I believe it provided a much more immersive audio experience. Although I make many of my videos for sleep, this audio has numerous loud moments such as car engines, horns, and police sirens. But no worries, I have many nature videos coming soon. Lunch time walk around Times Square. It was unusually light on crowds due to holiday that day. Still pretty busy around Times Square, but typically gets even more crowded. It's that time of the year when it's hard to pick what to wear, it's either cold and windy or humid and wet :) Today was pretty warm so even though I got soaked walking in the rain for over an hour I was not cold :)
