Walking in Istanbul 2019, Üsküdar to Bosphorus Bridge | WALKING TOUR
Todays Walking in Istanbul Video starts in Salacak Neighbourhood. It is located on the Asian shore of the Sea of Marmara. While walking, you can enjoy the best view of the historical peninsula where the old city is situated. Kız Kulesi one of the symbols of Istanbul, is also in Salacak. It is also known as the Maiden Tower. Then we continue our walk to the Center of Üsküdar district. The beautiful Şemsi Paşa Mosque welcomes you. The mosque was designed and build 1581 by the Ottoman architect Mimar Sinan for Grand Vizier Şemsi Pasha. We are passing the Ferry Terminal of Üsküdar and walk along the Bosphorus Strait towards the Neighbourhood Kuzguncuk and the Bosphorus Bridge. Walking Tour ends at the Bosphorus Bridge which is called now officially 15 July Martyrs Bridge.

Walking in ISTANBUL / Turkey ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Istanbul is one of the world's greatest cities. Connecting Europe and Asia the city has an incredible history.
We start this Istanbul walk at the blue mosque in the Sulthanahmed district. We walk to and through the Grand Bazar which is a major tourist attraction.
Passing the Istanbul university campus with the Beyazit tower we walk uphill to the Suleymaniye Mosque for a view over the city. This Ottoman imperial mosque is located on the Third Hill of Istanbul and as the second largest mosque of the city. It's also worth to take a look inside, so we have a peek.
We walk some more streets outside the touristic center and back down to where it gets busy again in the market area. We end this walk at the spice market where many shops offer spices and more.

ISTANBUL, Turkey ???????? - Kadıköy Tour (Asian Side) - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Kadıköy on Istanbul’s Asian shore is a laid-back residential neighbourhood of this city.
Both Kadıköy (ancient Khalkedon) and Üsküdar (ancient Chrysopolis/Scutari) started as independent cities and incorporated into Istanbul in the late 19th century. We walked in other parts of Istanbul: and
We arrive with the ferry over the Bosphorus from the Anatolian / European side and start our tour at the ferry pier.
After a few minutes we reach the busy cenrtal district and walk all around for about one hour there. We see everything from busy shopping street, residential areas and many cafés and restaurants. There are murals and even some little art markets.
The tour ends again near the ferry pier at Kadikoy Square with the Statue of Ataturk.

Istiklal Street Istanbul Walking Tour 2019 | Walking in Istanbul
This Istanbul Walk was filmed February 2019. The sun made us a nice surprise and was shining warm over Istanbul. I left home early and could luckily arrange some time for a short walk on the Istiklal Street (İstiklâl Caddesi) in Istanbul Beyoğlu district. Please note that this is not a full walk of the Street, which would start from the Taksim Square. I started walking from the middle of the Istiklal Avenue, a place which is called Galatasaray. But on this video you will see the Istiklal Street quite empty, because it was made in the morning hours. For me it is the best time to enjoy this historical street.
A detailed Full Istanbul Walk on the İstiklâl Street will come soon. I am also preparing a Beyoğlu Istiklal Street Guide, which will give you detailed information about separate historical buildings and their functions, restaurants and street food, shops and cultural activities. The first video is already made and will be online soon.

Walking in ISTANBUL / Turkey ????????- Galata Tower, Taksim, Dolmabahçe - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Istanbul / Turkey has several interesting districts. On this walk we are in Karaköy with the Galata Tower. We start the walk on a packed viewing platform of this 6th century tower. The view of Istanbul is great up there yet it takes us some 5 minutes to get down and to the street (jump to 08:00).
We walk towards the İstiklal street with many restaurants - there and in the the side streets. After checking this vibrant area we head towards Taksim square. Passing through the Taksim Gezi Park we head downhill to the Dolmabahçe Clock Tower where we end this walk.

Walking to the Secrets of the GRAND BAZAAR Istanbul 2019
Today's Walking in Istanbul 2019 Tour takes place in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul!
The Grand Bazaar (Kapalı Çarşı or Kapalıçarşı) is a large, old, covered Turkish Bazaar in Istanbul. It has 45 bin square meters of covered area, 65 streets and alleys, 3,600 shops and 22 Gates. The first and oldest part of the bazaar is called Iç Bedesten and was built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1461. A “Bedesten” is a building with an indoor arcade and shops. Over the years, the Grand Bazaar expanded and became a complex of thousands of shops.
In this video i visited and walked in the Grand Bazaar in April 2019, short before it was closed. They close the Grand Bazaar at 19:00. I only walked in a small part but not only in the very touristic places. I entered also some hidden gems in the Bazaar. There are also some buildings connected to the Market Streets. We call them HAN. A han is a kind of old business, trade and accommodation building in our tradition. Of course i will go again to the Grand Bazaar to show other hidden places.

This Bosphorus Walk to Bebek was filmed on February 2019. This is the 2nd part of the walk which started in Kuruçeşme Neigborhood, Cemil Topuzlu Park on the European Side of Istanbul and ended in front of the Arnavutköy Ferry Dock. Now we continue our walk from Arnavutköy to BEBEK neighbourhood, one of the most prestigious and luxurious districts of the Bosphorus. Walking Tour along the Bosphorus Coast ends in front of the The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Bebek Park. People of Istanbul are enjoying the sunny day while walking, jogging, cycling, fishing and relaxing and sitting in Cafes or Sea Food Restaurants.

Walking in Istanbul 2019 Asmalımescit Istiklal Street | Istanbul Walking Tour 2019
This Beyoglu Walk was filmed on February 2019. I came for a short walk to the Istiklal Street (İstiklâl Caddesi) in Istanbul Beyoğlu district to walk at the back streets. This walking Tour starts in Tünel Meydanı (Square) and finish at the Pera Palace Hotel in Tepebaşı. This area is also named as Asmalımescit, where some meyhane style restaurants and pubs are located. The buildings are quite old, from the late 19th and early 20th century and the streets are Ottoman style and narrow.

In this Walking in Istanbul Tour 2019 we went to EYÜP SULTAN, an exciting and old Neighbourhood of Istanbul.
Eyüp also known as Eyüpsultan district is located outside the city walls on the bank of the Golden Horn. The name comes from the türbe (tomb) of Eyyub al Ensari. He was a companion and standard-bearer of the Prophet Mohammed. It is believed that he died here when Arabs siege the city in the 7th century. His grave was found by the Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II. From that point on, Eyüp became a sacred place.

Walking in Beautiful Kuzguncuk 2019 | Istanbul Travel Guide 2019
Kuzguncuk is a beautiful neighbourhood on the Asian Side of the Bosphorus. I went there right before Ramadan started to make a video. We walk in Kuzguncuk and explore few streets.
There are nice cafes, some restaurants and eateries on the main street İcadiye Caddesi (Icadiye Street)
Old wooden houses from the late 19th Century still survived in modern days.
There is a huge green Park which is called Kuzguncuk Bostanı. Luckily this place could be saved from politicians.
I also had a great Kebab for lunch in one of my favorite places. As a dessert Profiterol and at the end a good turkish coffee in Çınaraltı Tee and Coffee House.
