We visited Wiesbaden, Germany! This was both of our first time visiting this city. Wiesbaden is very close to Frankfurt with s-bahn access to the city and airport. Wiesbaden is along the Rhine River, although the city center is about a 15 minute drive north. Wiesbaden is a city in central western Germany and the capital of the state of Hesse. Wiesbaden is also the second-largest city in Hesse after Frankfurt am Main.
Wiesbaden is situated on the right (northern) bank of the Rhine, below the confluence of the Main, where the Rhine's main direction changes from north to west. The city is across the Rhine from Mainz, the capital of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. Frankfurt am Main is located about 38 kilometres (23.6 mi) east. To the north of the city are the Taunus Mountains, which trend in a northeasterly direction.

WIESBADEN, Germany ???????? - Evening Walk - 4K 60fps
Wiesbaden, Germany is the capital of the federal state of Hesse. This city is known for its elegant villas. There are some historic spa houses and a total of 26 hot springs. The city is one of the oldest spa towns in Europe with roots stretching back to Roman times.
On this tour we start on the city center's market square. There we see the city hall and city palace besides the Evangelical Market church.
Later we pass the Kurhaus with its grand casino where Dostoevsky famously gambled. This area is a centerpiece of the city, showing the wealth of the Belle Epoque era. Close by is the Hessisches Staatstheater which is built with a blend of neo-baroque and neoclassical styles.
Our tour continues to finish a round the city center of Wiesbaden, arriving at the market square again where we started.

To the north of the city are the Taunus Mountains, which trend in a northeasterly direction.
