We started the day by visiting the important and historical temples of Janakpur including Raja Janak temple, Dhanusha Dham then proceeded towards Sitamarhi, the birth place of Sita Mata.

Details of journey of this day is given below-
Raja Janak Temple - We started our day in the morning by visiting the old Raja Janak Temple, it's the place where Raja Janak spent his last days. We also saw a pond there It is said that when Lord Ram broke the Dhanush a part of it fell here.
Breakfast near Maa Rajdevi Temple - Then we had breakfast of Puri & Aloo Sabzi with Pakora. There were 2-3 street food sellers there. This Lane is at less than 100 meter walking distance from Maa Rajdevi temple.
Shree Janaki Temple - After breakfast, we visited the Shree Janaki Mata Temple & did the Darshan of Lord Ram & Mata Sita. This Temple is Dedicated to Goddess Sita, Janaki Mandir is the biggest temple in Nepal located in Janakpur.
Ram Janaki Vivah Mandap - Then we visited the Vivah Mandap of Lord Rama & Sita Mata & had the Darshan of the Mandap
Entry Ticket - Rs 7 per person
Manimandap - After this, we travelled around 2 km and reached at the actual Vivah Mandap of Lord Ram & Mata Sita we couldn’t do the darshan coz the temple was closed at that time.
Dhanusha Dham - Then we visited the Dhanusha Dham It’s believed to be the place where the broken remains of the divine Shiva bow fell after Ram broke it to obtain Sita’s hand in marriage.
Lunch at Janakpur - After this, we had Lunch at Restaurant Mithila Thali by Chef Santosh, Janakpur. We had the special Mithila Thali in Lunch.
Thali Cost - Rs 188
Punaura Dham Sitamarhi - After this, we travelled around 1.5 hours from the Janakpur & Reached the Sitamarhi Dham. The Temple priest explained us how Sita Mata was born in Sitamarhi.
After this, we ended our day

महर्षि वाल्मीकि जी को समर्पित भगवान वाल्मीकि तीर्थ स्थान, अमृतसर लोपोक रोड पर अमृतसर से 11 किमी पश्चिम में स्थित है। पौराणिक मान्यताओं के अनुसार, मंदिर रामायण के काल का है और यह स्थान महर्षि वाल्मीकि के आश्रम के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यह वह स्थान है जहां ऋषि ने राम जी की पत्नी सीता माता को आश्रय दिया था, जब उन्हें लंका विजय के बाद छोड़ दिया गया था। यह स्थान संत बाल्मीकि के आश्रम में श्री रामचंद्र के पुत्र लव और कुश का जन्मस्थान है। कहा जाता है कि महान महाकाव्य रामायण को भी महर्षि वाल्मीकि ने यहीं लिखा था। यह भी माना जाता है कि श्री राम तीर्थ में भगवान श्री रामचंद्र की सेना और लव और कुश के बीच लड़ाई भी हुई थी।
Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Asthan, dedicated to Maharishi Valmiki ji is situated 11 km west of Amritsar on Amritsar Lopoke road. As per the mythological beliefs, The temple dates back to the period of Ramayana and the place is famous for the ashram of sage Maharishi Valmiki. It is the place where the sage gave shelter to Sita Mata, wife of Shri Rama when she was abandoned after the Lanka Victory. The place is birthplace of Lava and Kusha, sons of Shri Ramachandra, in ashrama of Saint Balmiki. The great epic Ramayana is also said to have been written here by Maharishi Valmiki. It is also believed that the fight between Lord Ram Chandra's forces and Lav and Kush had also taken place at Ram Tirth.

An Important pilgrimage for the Hindus, Ram Tirath Temple dates back to the Ramayana Period. It is believed to be the ashram of Sage Valmiki, where Mata Sita took shelter on being abandoned by her husband Lord Rama. Luv and Kush, the sons of lord Rama are believed to have been born here. The entire complex has a number of temples, which exhibit scenes from Ramayana. An annual fair of four days every year in November draws a large number of devotes to this place.It is a massive complex which is situated 11 km west of Amritsar. A sarovar with fountains adds charm to the place.

It is believed that this Bhawan was gifted to Devi Sita by Kaikei immediately after her marriage to Lord Ram. This is private palace of Devi Sita and Lord Rama. Vikramaditya got it renovated. Later it was rebuilt/renovated by Vrish Bhanu Kunwari which exists even today. The main idols installed in the garbhgrih (sanctum), are of Lord Ram and Devi Sita.
