I’ve moved to the happiest place on earth... Welkam to Vanuatu!
Yep, “moved”. As in permanently. This is home. I’ve always felt a pull to come back here, and now that I’ve done it... I couldn’t be happier. I have absolutely fallen in love with this country and it’s people... all over again!
I am so excited to bring you all on this life-changing journey with me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I am!!

When the world came to a halt, a land that emerges from the sea, also known as Vanuatu, has lived a different experience from the rest of us all!
Vanuatu is a hidden, semi-unknown and unspoiled paradise 2000 kilometers from the eastern coast of Australia, consisting of 83 volcanic islands, each one different from the other, some huge other simple atolls with colorful coral reefs, small fishing towns, indigenous villages and majestic volcanic peaks.
But before we look into what really happened in these mystical islands right before the world came to a halt and if we can now actually all enter the island, let’s first discover the blissfulness of this place and why it should be visited!

The islands offer scuba diving at coral reefs, underwater caverns and wrecks such as the WWII-era troopship SS President Coolidge. The beautiful nation of Vanuatu stretches across 1,300km of the South Pacific Ocean. Over 80 individual islands make it up and each fall in a north-to-south line below the Solomon Islands. Vanuatu lies to the east of Australia, northeast of New Caledonia and west of Fiji. There are 3 main tourist destinations within the Vanuatu island chain—the islands of Efate, Espiritu Santo (commonly just “Santo”) and Tanna. While there’s less of a tourism-focus on the other islands, Pentecost, Ambrym and Malekula do contain plenty of tropical wonders waiting to be discovered during Vanuatu travel and tours!
