AFFILIATE LINK DISCLOSURE: Friends, making a quality Loloho video is kind of like making sausage – only slightly more violent. It's a ridiculous amount of work that typically involves high dollar camera drops, blue-screen-of-death computer crashes, and at least one angry shotgun wielding old man shouting, “Hey! Get the hell outta here!” Once the final video is posted, rewards here on YouTube are few and far between (unless you are a masochist who enjoys being verbally abused by anonymous trolls). One saving grace is our affiliate links. JUST CLICKING THESE LINKS HELPS TO SUPPORT OUR LITTLE SHOW. Think of this clicking as like tipping - except that it doesn't cost you anything extra! If you eventually make a purchase via one of our affiliate links, we will receive a few pennies (and Sean typically invests these pennies in duct tape and video gear). Again, it doesn't cost you anything to click these links, and it's a great help to us. As always, safe travels, happy camping, and THANK YOU!

We drove TWO sight-unseen MX5's across EUROPE

What would you say to a roadtrip with two sight unseen cars from the UK to Greece? We said yes!

Two cheap MK3 MX5s, one with a bad wheel bearing.. we left our van in Romania, flew to Manchester and made an epic 1500mile (2400km) road trip down to Athens, via France, Switzerland, Italy and San Marino all in a week!

Millennial Monster is creating a community to help people live and experience their best life. You'll get a behind the scenes look at how they travel and why they do what they do. New episode every Sunday, hosted by Greg and Hannah.

➠ More ABOUT US

Hi! We're Greg and Hannah. We're two millennials who sold our home in Florida to travel the world together. During our second year of marriage, we made a decision to leave our jobs and start a business. Now, we have two online businesses that give us the freedom to travel and work wherever we choose. But, the journey doesn't end there. We're also FIREprenuers on a mission to live our best life and help others to the same.

Driving to the West, The Movie: Cross Country Road Trip from Florida to California

One man's dream to drive cross country in order to visit both major winter RV shows in one week, and the largest nomad gathering in the country. The journey begins in Tampa, Florida all the way to Oceanside, California.
In this feature film I document my travels in early 2018, from Tampa, Florida to Oceanside California. I spend a few days in the Arizona desert meeting up with some friends.

Please help me make better videos:

We tow a 2015 Winnebago Micro Minnie 1706FB travel trailer, with a 2004 Kia Sorento EX RWD.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

We’re Lucy and Ben, two photographers and filmmakers from the UK who’ve been living and travelling in our self-converted LDV Convoy camper van for the best part of four years. We’ve travelled all across Europe from West to East documenting our encounters with the people we meet as well as our own travels and adventures. We embrace the ethos of slow travel and minimal living, generally spending between 2 and 8 weeks in each country, getting to know each culture, cuisine and people as though we were locals ourselves as well as hiking, wild swimming and camping as we go.

We are currently on our third 7 month long road trip, travelling through the Balkans for the second time beginning in the French Alps and venturing as far East as Turkey, visiting 13 countries in between.

When we graduated university together we both knew we wanted to travel; Ben wanted to visit the Middle East and Lucy had always wanted to see more of Europe. Our ideas came together and we ended up buying a van for £1000. It was rusty, leaky and covered in tie dye spray paint but we fell in love. We spent 10 months converting it from a minibus into a cosy home on wheels and we’ve been tweaking and adding to it ever since to suit our needs.

10 Tips for Long Drive Days

19 Tips for Long Drive Days

We, the Two Tired Teachers, want to share with you some of the things we do on long travel days.

We left Central Texas and drove 550 miles the first day. Keeping that in mind, you know that we know a bit about the long drive days.

Our first tip is do as much as possible as early as possible. On the West Coast trip, we knew it would be chilly, if not downright cold, when we got to some higher elevations. One of the things we did to not have everything left until the last minute is we packed some cold weather clothes in the RV weeks before we left. Summer came early at home, so we knew we weren't going to need sweaters or sweatshirts and such.

If you are facing a long drive day, we highly recommend doing as much as possible the night before you leave. For example, on the night before the West Coast trip, Sharon hitched the trailer and parked in front of the house. That saved 10 or 15 minutes on the morning we were leaving.

On the long drive days, we try to make every stop count. When we stop for gas, one of us pumps gas while the other one cleans the windshield. Whoever finishes first, goes to the bathroom and replenishes our iced tea.

Especially on long drive days, be sure to hydrate. You want to nurse a drink most of the time you are driving because that will force you to stop. As we get older, we need to be sure to stop every couple of hours and walk a bit.

A couple of times a day on those really long drive days, we stop at a rest area and get the pets out. They are tired of being in a crate or carrier. On those stops, we know we will take 15 or 20 minutes to let the pets get out of the lock up.

Another thing we do as a rule of thumb is carry paper maps. Too many times, we have at least a general idea of how we want to go, but the GPS has a different idea. Or, even worse, the GPS has no idea how to get where we are going. Paper maps save us time and frustration.

To pass the time, we love listening to audio books. Our taste in books is similar, and we enjoy hearing great stories.

We also play games. We name the state capitals or the state motto or the state flower or bird. We grew up watching the same TV shows, so we will name the characters from various shows. It passes the time,

We do our best to avoid back to back long drive days. Sometimes that can't be helped, but we try to have at least one down day between long drive days.

Another thing that makes everyone travel better is to try to remember that everyone in the vehicle is as tired as you are. That helps us. By remembering that, we try to be more considerate of each other and the pets.

Finally, be flexible. We saw several things on this trip that we would have missed if we'd stuck with our original plan. Flexibility allowed us to see Olympic National Park. It gave us more options of places to stay.

We do hope these tips come in handy when your travel days are long.
