I’m not going to apologise. I can’t write to you in every single description under the video, besides that would be boring. This sporadic inconsistent approach is much more cultish anyway. The name that we will all refer to ourselves as is “Monograph Lectors.” We are therefore a “Bilge of Monograph Lectors.” Congratulations to Crescent Of Darkness for being the most creative member, so far, of our new group. You are now a Sailing La Vagabonde administrator of the comments section. Everyone in our group should recognise this and extend to you the same respect and courtesy they would me. #265 I've never been this sick before...
It's pretty rough when you have some bad seasickness which you can't escape. Lenny and Riley at the helm as we wrangle some bad weather at the very first stretch of our foray into the Atlantic. The Azores better be worth it!
Bonus: Riley puts on his meteorologist hat for a forensic post-mortem of the journey to the Azores. Every hour and day matters and timing, as you'll see, is so critical to planning and executing our journeys.

But something makes us wanna go out into the big wild Atlantic, out of the protection and peace. Into the waves and open ocean. 800 miles and rough seas, and where are we ending up again? Still Portugal!?

6 Degrees of Separation (Sailing La Vagabonde) Ep. 120
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR PATRON Erin O'herlihy!! Can you make it to Florida? Send us an email. Thanks so much for the support. After the tangled anchors drifting out to sea debacle last week we experienced last week, I sent everyone off to have some down time away from the boat. Daniel would go to Athens and then rendezvous with us in Malta, in particular though Elayna I thought needed a bit of a break. She and Kayla went to the island of Ios which is actually where Elayna and I met. It was a shame I couldn't get there myself but we still needed to get the boat back La Grande Motte before leaving the Mediterranean and I knew from previous experience how difficult it gets rushing from East to West in the Med late in the season. Winter Is Coming.
To be honest its the least I could do. If you guys could only see how much time and effort Elayna puts into just one episode you would fall off your chair. I can't edit movies like she can but I can sail a boat by myself to keep the team heading in the right direction.
I intended to sail solo from Greece to Malta but that was before I met Houmaid, one of the most interesting guys I've come across. After some provisioning and intense discussions about the weather, we set sail for Malta.

Yes we're back, we've hit the big refresh button and great to have the gang back together. A big thanks to those of you who shared with us your stories and thoughts with us since the last episode. We're sailing Greta Thunberg across the North Atlantic Ocean. There's a named tropical storm headed our way.. I've made the decision not to tell anyone other than Nikki who absolutely needed to know what situation we were in. We've also been experiencing surprise wind gusts of up to 50 knots. This time we got caught out with a full main and jib up. Don't miss this episode onboard La Vagabonde!
