Saint Pierre and Miquelon is a popular place to visit from Newfoundland, as it only requires a 1.5-hour ferry. However, you can also fly there from a number of cities, including Montreal, Halifax, St. John's, and Paris!

Q: Who is eligible to apply for the PEI PNP under the Critical Worker stream?
A: To be eligible to apply for the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program under the Critical Worker stream, you need to between 21 and 55 years old, with a full-time job offer from a PEI employer for whom you've been working for at least 6 months.
The job has to be at a NOC skill-level C or D in one of the following occupations: truck driver, customer service representative, labourer, food & beverage server, or housekeeping attendant. You need to have a legal work permit and legal status in your country residence.
You need to have at least two years of full-time work experience in the past five years, and you need to meet the language requirements for your occupation.
You need to be able to attend an interview at Immigration Services, if required, and you need to prove that you have sufficient settlement support and financial resources, as well as your intention to settle in the province.
You also need to score at least 50 points on the L-2 Self-Assessment Form.
