We spent just over a month exploring South America, visiting Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile and these travel vlogs are to share our experience of the first time touching the continent... safe to say we loved it! But, more than any trip we've had in YEARS we were researching like crazy with so many burning questions about South America.
Not only is South America massive, so it's not like there is a one size fits all guide, but there are so many destinations you can visit. We settled on a couple of awesome tours with G Adventures and never looked back, but even still we had so many things to figure out for our first time to the continent.

If you're one of the rare souls who decides to take a trip to Guyana, the least visited country in the Americas, chances are your first stop will be Georgetown, the capital city. With a population of only around 200,000, it looks and feels almost like a small town. But this city is no joke. With the newfound oil wealth driving prices up, crime is starting to skyrocket. Although everyone in Guyana suffers from theft, American oil workers and Chinese merchants in particular are hunted in the streets by muggers. I was no oil worker, but I was assumed to be one.

Hi, we are Brandon and Kristine!
We picked up our empty cargo van in November 2020 and built her into our tiny home on wheels over the next year. We finally hit the road in January 2022 alongside our sweet pup, Hopps, with a motto to live with less to experience more. After 7 months of life on the road, new adventures were calling and we decided to put our van in storage and head out on a backpacking journey across the world! Our goal is to explore and really experience different countries and cultures and inspire people to step out of their comfort zone and do what makes them happy.
