Armenia is a land of ancient history, rich culture, and stunning nature. It is one of the oldest countries in the world, and the first to adopt Christianity as its official religion.
Number 10 Garmi Temple. Garmi Temple is a pagan temple located in the village of Garmi, in the Shirak province of Armenia.
Number 9 Etchmiadzin. Etchmiadzin is the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and the seat of the Catholicos of All Armenians.
Number 8 Goris. Goris is a city in the Syunik province of Armenia, situated on the banks of the Vararak River,
Number 7 Debed Canyon. Debed Canyon is a spectacular gorge that stretches for about 60 kilometers along the Debed River, in the Lori province of Armenia.
Number 6 Lake Sevan. Lake Sevan is a town and a lake in the Gegharkunik province of Armenia, about 60 kilometers from Yerevan. Sevan Lake is the largest lake in Armenia, and one of the largest and highest freshwater lakes in the world, lying at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level.

Must visit attractions in Yerevan | Travel video | Armenia ????????
Armenia is one of the most fascinating yet underrated countries I have ever visited. It is a landlocked country but there are so many tourist attractions that when you visit Armenia, you will not be disappointed.
In this video, I sm going to talk about ten must visit places in and around Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
1. Republic Square: REPUBLIC SQUARE is the heart of Yerevan, the central square of the capital city. The square features government buildings, hotels, museums, and popular fountains.
2. Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial : This expansive complex, which was completed I 1967, was built to honor the 1.5 million Armenians killed by genocide during the 20th century. Today, this hillside memorial serves as a destination for pilgrims who want to pay homage to the fallen.
3.Mother Armenia monument and Victory Park: Mother Armenia is one of the tallest statues in Yerevan. It is 22 meters (approximately 72 feet) high. Overall, the monument together with the statue is 51 meters (approximately 167 feet) high. The statue and the pedestal are made of different materials. The statue is made of hammered copper and the pedestal – of basalt.
The year 2010 marked the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Victory Park. The Park was initially called “Haghtanak” (Victory), but after Stalin’s statue was placed there, it came to be more known as “Monument.”
The Park is named “Victory” in commemoration of Soviet Armenia’s participation in the Second World War. It’s situated at the top of Cascade in Yerevan. The Park is very large and includes an artificial lake, an amusement park with various merry-go-rounds, outdoor cafes, the Mother Armenia Monument and the Mother Armenia Museum of the Ministry of Defense. Picnics are usually organized on the forested area of the Park.
4. Charent’s Arch: The Arch of Charents, also known as Arch of Ararat, is located at an altitude of 1500 meters in the village of Voghjaberd in Kotayk province. This monument is included in the list of historical and cultural landmarks of Voghjaberd.
5. The beautiful town of Garni : You must visit this town if you are planning a trip to Armenia.
6. Garni Temple: The Temple of Garni was built in the 1st century by King Trdat I as a pagan temple dedicated to the Armenian God of Sun, Mihr. When Armenia converted to Christianity in the 4th century, the structure miraculously survived the massive destruction of pagan temples.
7. Gerhard Monastery: Geghard is a medieval monastery in the Kotayk province of Armenia, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
8. Symphonyof Stones: The Symphony of Stones is basalt rocks in the form of straight pipes and about 100m high. This attraction is called Symphony of Stones since the rocks seem to resemble a musical instrument organ from afar. Such rocks are formed during a sharp freezing of lava.
9.Vernissage: Vernissage is definitely a wonderful place worth visiting for all the tourists. The whole day won’t be enough to explore and get acquainted with all the colorful works of Armenian masters. Once in Yerevan, try not to miss this place and you will get a lot of vivid and unforgettable impressions!
10. Cascade Complex and Cafesjian Center for Arts:
The Cascade is a truly magnificent part of the city, where art, urban life, a huge architectural complex, an idyllic green spaces merge beautifully to form an exciting, and quintessentially Yerevanian atmosphere.
The Cafesjian Center for the Arts is an art museum in Yerevan, Armenia. It is located at the central Kentron District, in and around the Yerevan Cascade which is a complex of massive staircase with fountains, ascending up from the Tamanyan Street gardens and pedestrian zone.
