Video of Mouth of Two Hearted River State Forest Campground, MI from Fiona

Fiona 's Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Listen to Lake Superior while you sleep
Stayed 8 nights in late October. This was our second time to the camp and it was as wonderous as the first. The North Country Trail goes right through the camp which was perfect for us. .There are two camps to pick from. We chose camp #1 due to it's proximity to the bridge. The sunsets are spectacular. A must visit if you are willing to drive 30mins on dirt roads.

▶︎ Best campground ever!
My favorite campground I’ve ever been too. Rustic, and very beautiful. It’s a bit of a venture to get there but well worth it!

Tayah H.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Absolutely Rustic and Amazing
If you’re one who likes the thrill of winding backroads and wants to be away from all the noise and commotion of the city this is your spot.
I took my friends on a loop through the UP this past June and they made me plan another one because they loved it so much.
Bodi Lake Campground is off of a dirt road that is about 35 minutes from Tahquamenon State forest, 30 min from crisp point lighthouse (you can climb to the top and had a beautiful view), and about 2 hours from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
This campground is my favorite so far because it’s right on the lake which you are able to kayak, or canoe on, has beautiful sunrises/sunsets, and is very remote. This campground also includes fire pits, toilets, and is very spacious. You are close enough to your “neighbors” but still have privacy. There are no water hookups, showers, or anything larger than tents.
This campsite is a drive up, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE because it is free. No reservations are taken.
This campsite is run by an older couple during the summer months. They gave us a couple of brochures and are happy to answer any questions you have! They are the reason we found the lighthouse!
Overall this is a GREAT place to stay and I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Video of Andrus Lake - State Forest, MI from Joie V.

Joie V.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Love this campground!
I was not expecting this campground to be so awesome. Loved how close to Whitefish point for the museum and rock hunting. Andrus Lake was beautiful and is perfect for canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. Got there on a Sunday night and scored a good site but the campground was pretty much fun by the end of the night which did surprise me. Most only stayed 1 night but was more crowed then I would have liked for a midweek stay. Drinking water was orange! Outhouses were filled with bugs and were not super clean. Bring your bug spray. Only gets the high review because I loved the location. Campground had a cute beach area that the kids loved to swim and build castles but did need lots of bug spray.

Lake Ann as fall sets in.

Dalton B.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Rustic Camp Overlooking Lake Ann
This rustic campground is setteled on a ridge overlooking Lake Ann. Camp offers outhouses and water hand pumps. Previous times I've been here we could beach our boat right on the shoreline down from camp. Across the the road from the campground is the Lake Ann Pathway which offers hiking through forested hills, along the Platte river, and along the shore of a small scenic lake. Located only a couple miles from the village of Lake Ann, you're only about 20 minutes from traverse city, and 30 minutes from the world famous sleeping bear dunes.

Dalton B.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Childhood Favorite
Cant count how many times i've been here. Being only a couple miles from home, I could ride my bike through the forest paths to this camp ground. The camp is located on the N.W. shore of the Lake Dubonnet resovoir. Rustic, cheap, horse friendly, out house, and pleanty of forest and lake to explore.

Muskallonge Lake State Park - Upper Peninsula of Lake Michigan

A drive through the Muskallonge State Park campground in Newberyy, Michigan. This is a great little campground that sits on Muskallonge Lake with Lake Superior just across the street. There are electrical hookups and water is available throughout the campground. There is a nice bath house and a dump station before you exit the campground with trash dumpsters.
