Less than an hour by boat from Venice and a visit to Burano, where fishing and lace-making prevail and Murano, famous for its glass-blowers.Three golden centuries of peace and prosperity made Venice into a glamorous, fairytale city like no other. 120 churches, 400 bridges – this watery landscape is without equal. The 11th century Basilica Di San Marco, known as the ‘Golden Basilica’, is supported by 2,500 granite and marble pillars and, lined by buildings of many different eras, the Piazzi Di San Marco is surely one of the most famous squares in the world. And there’s Carnival, too…a chance to wear a mask of Casanova, as well a good excuse for food and wine. Napoleon described Venice as ‘Europe’s most beautiful meeting place’. He was right!

From Overpriced Gondola Rides to Slippery Streets to Overpriced and Underwhelming Tourist Restaurants this Video Covers What You Shouldn't Do When you Go to Venice, Italy.
Italy is an amazing city, well worth visiting and exploring, but there are a few things tourists and travelers should avoid or not do when they come to Venezia, Italia.
Don't - bring too much luggage, having to lug it over all of those bridges and down long streets is not a fun thing to do,
Don't - be surprised if the locals have different lines than the tourists
Don't - pay for a toilet, go get a Spritz or a Coffee instead. You have to pay for something make it a treat, not a toilet.
Don-t - expect a cheap gondola ride. they are a bit pricey and you will need to pay more to get him to sing.
Don't - forget to explore outside the main island of Venice. There are great places to visit around Venice like the Murano glass factories or farther afield in Padova and Vicenza.
Don't - be surprised if you have walk on risers occasionally when the city floods.
Don't - wear skimpy clothes if you are hoping to get into Basilica San Marco.

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Venice, the capital of northern Italy’s Veneto region, is built on more than 100 small islands in a lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. The central square, Piazza San Marco, contains St. Mark’s Basilica, which is tiled with Byzantine mosaics, and the Campanile bell tower offering views of the city’s red roofs.

You can enjoy water activities, visit historic places, take a nature trip and breathe the fresh environment, or indulge in various activities. Before going into Venice vacations, make sure that you know what you would want to do so you can save more time in doing the things you love the most.
2. Have background information in the place you are going to. It is best to conduct a research and get the basic information in the place you are planning to go to because it will give you more time to maximize your vacation.
