Think there's NO DRAMA in RV life? Think again! Our video highlights what happens when you choose the wrong campground to spend a week relaxing and unwinding! While we do give some consideration to user reviews, we don't always mark a campground off our list just because of a handful of poor reviews! Unfortunately, we paid the price this time and will now consider ALL reviews that pertain to power shortages and general upkeep! Let our mistake save you the drama of dealing with a park manager that thinks your big rig is taking all the power out of their park. One highlight that came from this huge inconvenience, is that our next campground, just outside of Glacier National Park, was able to accommodate us four days early! Thanks to getting kicked out, we got to see Glacier three times instead of just once, which we originally had planned! Oh, and our new campground had plenty of electricity for ALL of the rigs in their campground and was well kept!

Dort schauen wir uns den kostenlosen Wohnmobilstellplatz mit toller Aussicht auf den Burgberg an und besichtigen das Äquadukt. Wir machen weitere Zwischenstopps im Küstenort Playa de Nules (fast) direkt am Strand und auf dem Campingplatz Font de Sis in El Palomar.

Valencia Travel Village RV Park in Castaic California caters to long term guests with full hookup RV sites. The vast majority of the sites are pull thrus with spacing on par with other urban area RV parks. For guests wanting extra space there are some sites that open to large areas and walkways allowing for a significant “yard”.
This location keeps a couple dozen sites available for short term and overnight guests. Paved roads with dirt parking pads the location is adjacent to Hwy 33 travelling between Interstate 5 and Ventura CA. Recently the highway was improved and large brick sound walls were added to minimize highway noise for park guests (and it works really well – road noise is there but very reduced).
When crowded the roads can feel a bit cramped for extra large RVs but RVs under 40′ should navigate safely into and out of the sites. Valencia Travel Village RV Park has nicely maintained facilities including a playground, two pools and spas, clubhouse and office/store. The park accepts Passport-America for early week stays and offers progressively more reasonable rates the longer you stay.
The park has a dump station BUT it is off-limits to non-guests. Propane is available.
Close to Magic Mountain and Santa Clarita the park is “isolated” from the urban area due to the river basin (flood plain) behind and the highway in front. Guests are encouraged to tour the areas west of the park; Santa Paula, Fillmore, and the entire valley are some of the richest agricultural areas in the country. Fruit stands can be found along the highway with excellent seasonal choices including oranges and strawberries.

Valencia Travel Village RV Park
The park is easy to get into and out of. We have a 32' class A, pulling a van with a tow dolly. No problem with our site. The parks wifi is petty good, even though we had out own. There are a lot of long term residents, but all are very nice. The park puts a lot of work into maintaining the place and it shows. There is a well stocked camp store on site, laundry area, Pools, Hot-tub, Adult lounge and a free game room.( ping pong, air hockey, Pool table, foosball table and Darts)
There is also a basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a community fire pit, shuffleboard, and a playground. This park is literally 10 miles from Six Flags Magic Mountain, and 30 minute drive to universal studios. We hit them both.

Valencia Travel Village is a premier RV resort in a beautiful country setting with mature trees and grassy sites, located about 5 miles from Valencia. We have 381 RV sites which can handle big rigs. Guests can enjoy our 2 heated pools, spa, kiddie pool, and playground. We have a convenience store and laundry facilities for our guests. We are conveniently located near golf courses, churches, shopping and only 3 miles from Magic Mountain. Many Los Angeles attractions such as Universal Studios, Hollywood, museums, beaches and Disneyland/California Adventures, are a short drive away. There are several lakes nearby for boating and fishing. The relaxed, friendly atmosphere and great location makes us ideal for any RV enthusiast to enjoy.
