Vaduz (/fɑːˈduːts/; German pronunciation: [faˈdʊt͡s] or [vaˈduːt͡s],[2] High Alemannic pronunciation: [faˈdot͡s])[3] is the capital of Liechtenstein and also the seat of the national parliament. The city, which is located along the Rhine River, has 5,696 residents. The most prominent landmark of Vaduz is Vaduz Castle, being perched atop a steep hill in the middle of the city. It is home to the reigning prince of Liechtenstein and the Liechtenstein princely family. The city's distinctive architecture is also displayed in landmarks such as the Cathedral of St. Florin, Government House, City Hall, the National Art Gallery, as well as the National Museum. Although Vaduz is the best-known town in the principality internationally, it is not the largest; neighbouring Schaan has a larger population.

Unterwegs übt sich Ramon im Ziegenmelken, Alphornblasen und Trailrunning. Er trifft spannende Menschen, darunter auch die Fantastischen 4 und den Erbprinzen des Fürstentums.

Liechtenstein is one of the smallest countries in Europe and located in between Switzerland and Austria in the Alps. The capital city of Liechtenstein is Vaduz and is situated close to the Rhein river and the Alps. Vaduz offers a true fairy-tale view with its beautiful mountains and castles.
I recently had the chance to travel to Vaduz and explored the city with my drone. If you are traveling through Europe and especially Switzerland, Liechtenstein should be on your list. Due to its size it can easily be done in a day.

Liechtenstein Walking Tour, Vaduz
The beautiful small principality in the heart of Europe.
The Principality of Liechtenstein is the sixth-smallest country in the world. It lies in the heart of the Alps between Switzerland and Austria. A pipsqueak of a country, Liechtenstein snuggles between Switzerland and Austria, among mountain ranges that rise steep and rugged above the Rhine. Besides the sheer novelty value of visiting one of the world's tiniest and richest countries, Liechtenstein is pure fairy-tale stuff – a mountain principality governed by an iron-willed monarch, embedded deep in the Alps and crowned by turreted castles.
Only 25km long by 12km wide (at its broadest point), Liechtenstein doesn’t have an international airport, and access from Switzerland or Austria is by local bus. The western, more populated side of the country is in the Rhine Valley and relatively flat; the east is mountainous.
Outdoor enthusiasts are in their element here, with a remarkable number of trails to hike and slopes to ski given the country's size. Strike out into the Alpine wilderness beyond Vaduz and, suddenly, this landlocked sliver of a micronation no longer seems quite so small.

Liechtenstein is a German-speaking microstate situated in the Alps and in the southwest of Central Europe.
Liechtenstein is bordered by Switzerland to the west and south and Austria to the east and north. It is Europe's fourth-smallest country, with an area of just over 160 square kilometres and a population of 38,749. Liechtenstein is one of only two doubly landlocked countries in the world, along with Uzbekistan.

Lichtenstein is a small land locked country between Austria and Switzerland. It's also known as the princely state of Lichtenstein because they have an active prince as ruler, who lives in the castle above the capital of Vaduz.
This tiny country speaks German, and they use the Swiss Franc as a currency. The roads and city center of Vaduz are decorated with art pieces and one of the museums to visit is the art museum, which is free to visit on Wednesdays. The area looks mostly like West Austria or Switzerland. Most people that we met in Lichtenstein are Austrians working in Lichtenstein.

Vaduz Castle Liechtenstein 2019
Todays video is a day trip I took to Vaduz Castle in Liechtenstein early this year. Even though we were not able to go inside of the castle it was still pretty cool to get some drone footage of it. I came across a trip on Eurotrip Adventures that was a pretty good deal and I just couldn't pass. Its always pretty fun being able to fly the drone around especially in a different country ...but yea enjoy this video and let know what you think

Day 03
O dia começou com ida de Chur para Churwalden, onde se encontra um dos maiores tobogãs da Suíça. Ele desce a montanha Pradaschier e são 31 curvas, descendo 480 metros por 3.060 metros. A descida pode demorar de 7 a 10 minutos, atingindo até 40km/h. Nos fizemos em um pouco mais de 7 minutos!!
Depois voltamos para Chur, andamos um pouco no centro velho da cidade e decidimos ir para Liechtenstein, que fica a 45 minutos de trem dali, então, por que não??
Escolhemos ir para Vaduz em Liechtenstein, para ver o castelo. A cidade é super fofa e bem movimentada. Subimos até o castelo, acreditando que ainda estava aberto de acordo com o Google. Mas chegando lá descobrimos que ele não é aberto para visitação porque o príncipe ainda mora lá! Super interessante.
