Don't Visit Santorini Until You Watch This
Santorini is the most famous island in Greece and with that title comes a lot of negatives. Higher prices, mass tourism, and a lot of high expectations from travelers dreaming of visiting. We are going to be honest, after visiting other greek islands, Santorini is at the bottom of the list. That doesn't mean you shouldn't travel to this romantic island. We had an unforgettable time on Santorini especially in places like Oia and Perissa. To save money we took busses for $3, ate the cheapest food we could find like $5 gyros and tried to do free activities like cliff jumping. If you don't like spending money, don't head here in the middle of July during high season! Visit during the months of April-May and September-October.

THE STREETS OF SANTORINI - Caldera Views | Thera Restaurants | Imerovigli & Skaros Rock
In this video we explore the streets of Santorini on foot. We start off in Imerovigli overlooking the Caldera throughout our entire walk. We weave our way through the beautiful narrow streets with dreamy instagrammable accommodations with pools and hot tubs, we couldn’t stay at one due to low season and Covid but we still got to enjoy all the beauty on offer in this part of the island.
We decided to do the hike up to Skaros Rock which juts out into the Caldera offering panoramic views. Afterwards we walk back through the streets of Imerovigli to explore Thera (Fira), check out the shops and catch the unmissable Santorini sunset! After sunset we head into the main town of Thera which is packed with bars and restaurants, where we grab ourselves some well earned dinner!

SANTORINI CALDERA a LIVE VOLCANO in GREEK PARADISE! BOAT TOUR!
In this video we explore the Santorini Caldera up close. We leave the main island of Santorini on a boat to get a closer look at the famous live volcano that still remains at the centre of the Santorini Caldera. The island called Nea Kameni (Young burnt island) is uninhabited and is made entirely from lava, it is possible to walk around the circumference of the volcano crater whilst seeing the hot sulphuric smoke pour out as you go around. It’s ok scientists are keeping a close eye on it so it’s safe - for now.
There are 5 islands in total in the flooded Santorini Caldera including the mainland island of Santorini, Nea Kameni, Palea Kameni, Aspronisi and Therasia.
After exploring the live volcano we take a dip in the hot springs that are heated naturally by the volcano before jumping back on the boat and heading over for lunch in Therasia. Other than the main island of Santorini, Therasia is the only island in the Santorini Caldera that is inhabited, it has a population of around 300 people, the island lies North West of Nea Kameni.
We make our way back to the main island of Santorini and begin our ascent up the many steep steps in Thera (Donkey rides and cable cars are available for those who don’t want to walk it) we made it to the top but not before almost getting pee’d on by the donkeys!

We visited one of the most famous and popular islands in Greece: Santorini. This place is so pretty that it attracts millions of tourists every year. Only a few of them stay here over night and the main reason for this is probably that the hotel prices are extremely high.

Santorini has a long tradition in winemaking... I always wanted to find out more about the abandoned winery called Santino in Messaria... I really large facility for the day but till today I could not find good info about what happened and why it was finally abandoned... So today was the day to visit and see what we could find...
