Scuba Diving Saint Vincent and the Grenadines - What You'll see.

St. Vincent isn't easy to get to. There are no direct flights from the US. You need to go first to Barbados or Trinidad, then catch a prop plane to St. Vincent. It's about a 40 minute flight. But leaving St. Vincent was delayed 8 hours do to assorted problems, including needing more gas than was available in St. Vincent.
But boy, was the diving in St Vincent worth the effort. We were diving in Bonaire which is my favorite spot. It's the shore diving capital of the world. Then we went on to St. Vincent. I wasn't sure what to expect. St. Vincent has wonderful robust reefs, awesome numbers of fish and lots to see and shoot. The boat never went more than 5-6 minutes from the hotel's beach and saw awesome fish, a wreak and a bat cave. We saw grassy areas with lots of macro and walls full of life.
St. Vincent was really worth the effort.

Finding Grace in the Grenadines. Graceful turtles, lots of macro critters, and strange crustaceans will fill every scuba divers expectations. Filmed in HD by Bill & Donna Goodwin of Feral Divers Media.

WaterdogsVideo: St Vincent Critters

St Vincent and Bequia have been on our list of places to go for a long time. It's a little difficult to get to, which kept us from getting there until August 2012. We did a lot of muck diving there and found an amazing amount of things found no where else in the Caribbean, or the world sometimes. We saw sea spiders, skeleton shrimp, long arm octopi, and tons of seahorses and frogfish. This place really gives Pacific diving a run for it's money!!
