Perjalanan selepas berhenti makan tengahari di sungai Ulu Song menuju ke sungai Ulu Melipis. Jambatan yang runtuh menyebabkan kami terpaksa menggunakan jalan air merentasi sungai. Tiba di campsite lebih kurang jam 6 petang setelah beberapa jam stuck di sungai.

Bintulu town is the administrative capital of the Division of the same name, the hinterland of which is still largely a mystery to outsiders.
That’s where the 4th Sarawak 4X4 Jamboree will be heading, come September 2019. Following successive years of successes since 2016, the adventure seekers of Sarawak and their friends from afar will descend on the town that gas built and venture into the green heart of Sarawak to explore its natural wonders.
Place names like Tatau, Samarakan, Sungai Asap and Belaga may not be well known to outsiders, but that is the point of an exploration - to go where few have ventured before. Bakun may be for famous, and that is also a possible stop along the way.
Culture. Adventure. Nature. Unique longhouse dwellings, unusual and varied food, difficult terrain, big trees. These are the attractions that make adventurous city dwellers forsake their air-conditioning and toll highways - for a while, at least.
Sarawak 4X4 Jamboree is the signature event of the 4X4 Travel and Adventure Club Sarawak (SAKTA), which was founded over a decade ago by a bunch of like-minded people who wanted to explore those hard-to-reach places that promise natural beauty and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of modern city life.
From modest beginnings with just 40 participating vehicles in 2016, it quickly captured the imagination of adventurers throughout Sarawak and neighbouring countries. The second event drew about 70 vehicles, and the third attracted about 180.

A short escape trip to Ulu Musah, Song.
From tarmac road to oilpalm plantation terrain and old logging road camp; Started our journey at 0230am from Bintulu town on 22.02,2019, was greeted with heavy rain all the way to Sibu town. Reached Sibu Jaya at 0600am, Continue our journey to Song, and safely arrived at 0945am.
Had our lunch at Song Town, and proceed to Ulu Musah in the afternoon. The journey was suppose to take around 1 hour driving through logging road, but we took almost 3 hours due to road condition.
Ulu Musah villagers are very welcoming. We were greeted with traditional coconut wine called Ijuk, freshly harvest from the tree, and had our rest and relax session at the river bank, enjoyed the cold river water and barbeque.
The day after, dated 24th Feb 2019, we packed and load our belongings, hearts are very heavy to leave such a good, harmony and welcoming place. Proceed our journey to Song Town and reach Sibu jaya at 0130am. The alternative road Song to Kanowit really gives us challenges especially with one of our brother had his 4wd system not functioning. He had to travel with only 2wd system. Winching, Towing during hill descent and ascent.

the jamboree flagged off in Sibu on Sept 13 and covered Kanowit, Ngemah, Song before ending in Kapit. In total, 480 participants in 175 four-wheel-drive vehicles took part in the event, including those from Switzerland, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Brunei.

這次除了在馬來西亞砂拉越的民都魯吃喝玩樂，更重要的是參與SAKTA主辦的第4屆砂拉越國際越野大露營（4th Sarawak International 4x4 Jamboree 2019)。180輛的越野車，超過400人參與，來自世界各國的越野車愛好者都聚集在這裡，展開為期4天3夜的越野大露營！
民都魯這樣玩，真的很狂野！婆羅洲森林越野露營，真是一次非常難忘的回憶！謝謝SAKTA主辦單位的邀請，Tiga Tawai（謝謝）！
