traveling to Kigali Rwanda From Kampala Uganda is very possible, easy and cheap.
On 27th February 2020 i started my journey to Kigali Rwanda with a team of five friends making us a total of six three of which are YouTube content creators . We booked our tickets earlier with Mash Poa Bus which cancelled our trip due to the delays At the boarder as the emigrations office had a few things to rectify; this had costed us forty thousand Uganda shillings (UGX 40,000) and with this price we had been offered VIP(VERY IMPORTANT PERSON SEAT) seats. I really didn't know that buses too have these so called VIP and ordinary sections.
After cancelling with Mash Poa Buses, we booked with modern coast buses, here we paid the same price but for ordinary seats. At Exactly 10:30Pm we set off from Kampala Uganda for Kigali Rwanda. Travelling out of Kampala the Capital city of Uganda through the Western districts Of Uganda to the Kigali the capital city of Rwanda would take us a maximum of eight hours (8 Hrs)
We had packed; or should i say stocked our snacks which we finished at around three quarters of the journey.
the Emigrations process was so quick and swift on both the Ugandan side and the Rwandan side. Early morning we were in Kigali at Nyabugogo bus terminal where our host picked us and took us to our ten (10) dollar house:

This is my journey from Kampala in Uganda to Kigali in Rwanda, the bus journey is awesome because of the scenery on the way and buses are very good on this route. I used the Jaguar bus from Kampala to Kigali, the journey took 9 hours and the ticket was 50,000 Ugandan Shillings ($13.50 USD) per person from Kampala to Kigali. enjoy the ride.

Hello my beautiful people. Welcome or welcome back to another experience.
Join me as I travel to my first destination out of Uganda ???????? and that’s none other than Kigali Rwanda????????????????
Kigali Rwanda is ideally a 10-12hrs trip from Kampala City by Bus. But well in my experience, it took me 16hrs from Kampala City to Kigali and this is because the bus was very slow and it had a mechanical problem. Frustrating right????????
Important documents to carry while traveling to Kigali ????????
-A passport if you are not a Rwandese resident
-A national identity card if you come from countries within the East African Community which are Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania,Burundi
-Hotel booking information if you are a tourist
-A contact of someone in kigali you know
I wasn’t asked for a yellow card and covid certificate but it doesn’t hurt to carry them incase you have them.
