This is my third vlog in Saudi Arabia focus on the aviation sector. I had a quick tour of Riyadh Airport include ramp access to film the commercial and private aviation scenes. I visited the Saudia Al Fursan Lounge at Terminal 5 of Riyadh before boarding my Saudia B787-9 Dreamliner flight to Jeddah. It was a quick 1.5 hours domestic flight but interesting to see a dedicated prayer area and the service provided on-board.
Once arrived in Jeddah, I met up with Tour Guide Abir to explore the city, the Sea Mosque and Old Jeddah City.
Then I tried out Saudi Low Cost Carrier Flyadeal from Jeddah to Abha, it was an interesting experience to see the popularity of Low Cost Airlines rising inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Abha is an interesting city with green mountains and different landscape. I met fellow vlogger Eva zu Beck and Nara and we've discussed about how tourism is changing the country.

This is part 1 of 3 vlogs of my visit to Saudi Arabia with the recent opening of E-Tourist Visa. In the first episode, I flew on Saudia A330 in Business Class from Dubai to Riyadh. A lot of behind the scenes filming from the cockpit, the crew and service delivery on the flight.
Once arrived in Riyadh, I was shown a tour of the city's market, fort, museum and Edge of the World. Throughout my tour, I seek explanation and the truth to some stereotype conception about Saudi Arabia.
The goal of this trip is to give you a realistic view on tourism in a country that was closed to non-religious travelers. The video does not endorse Saudi Arabia but merely showing my own experience there. My videographer and I were given permission to film on-board Saudia. This was not a paid content by Saudi Arabia. We will explore more aviation and the new Jeddah Terminal in next video.

Saudi Arabian Airlines Uncovered - Should You Fly SAUDIA?
Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA) recently launched flights to South Korea. I flew on SAUDIA B787 Dreamliner from Seoul Incheon to Jeddah via Riyadh.
It is interesting for me to see who travels on this new SAUDIA flight as the country only recently opened to tourism and transit. During the flight, I reviewed all the SAUDIA in-flight service offerings including an onboard chef cooking fresh eggs for breakfast.
SAUDIA is a no-alcohol airline, there is a dedicated prayer area on their widebody aircraft. The transit in Jeddah was easy. Finally, the airport is under one roof. During the transit, I visited the new SAUDIA Al Fursan Lounge. The lounge is the largest lounge in Skyteam airlines, which can accommodate up to 10,000 passengers a day.
During each Hajj season, the airline carries over 100,000 passengers within a few weeks in and out of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I hope to document it in the next Hajj season.

Saudia B777/B787 AirShow Formation Flight - How 4 Airliners Flew Within 200 Feet?
This is the most exciting flight I've been on this year! I was flying inside two of the four Saudi commercial airliners that participated in the Saudi 91st National Day Airshow 2021.
The four Saudi Airliners involved in the formation are:
Saudia B787-9 (Call sign: Falcon 1),
Saudia B777-300/ER in Retro Livery (Call sign: Falcon 2),
Flyadeal A320neo (Call sign: Falcon 3),
Flynas A320 (Call sign: Falcon 4).
On day 1 of the rehearsal, I flew inside a Saudia B777-300/ER Retro 75th anniversary special livery (registration HZ-AK28). The pilots explained the special flying procedure of the formation. The 4 airliners were flying with just 200 feet separation, which requires precision planning and discipline.
On day 2 I flew inside a Flyadeal new A320neo, to film the other formation aircraft. I was treated to some amazing and incredible air-to-air flying footage of Saudia B777 and B787.
The 91st Saudi National Day AirShow was held in Jeddah on 20th Sept, Riyadh on 23rd Sept and Damman on 25th Sept.

There are airlines in the world that we don't hear about that often, although their offer is better than many others that we hear about more often. I think that with Saudia I have managed to find an airline that stands out from the grey average and that can offer something better than most. The exceptional friendliness of their cabin crew in their nice uniforms, the relaxing sand-coloured cabin, and the different approach to food service are all that make it special. All this is already true for economy class, but when it comes to business class, the offer is definitely even more fresh compared to Western airlines, and it can compete very well with Middle Eastern ones (like Emirates, Etihad, Oman Air etc.) too. The innovative food options and the unmistakable attention of the cabin crew to the business class passengers are convincing. I never thought that I would be served an exceptional avocado toast for breakfast onboard an aircraft, which tasted very fresh. But it is best to see it all for yourself in the video I have prepared.
