The Grand Trunk Express or GT, is one of the oldest and most famous trains in India. When introduced in 1929, the train ran between Peshawar and Mangalore, almost the length of the country and beyond. The GT was one of the longest running trains in the country at that time. The Peshawar to Mangalore run took about 104 hrs in all. Later this service was changed to Lahore Mettupalayam.
From 1930 started running between Delhi and Madras. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the train used to run with a completely air-conditioned rake on two days of the week.

Easiest Travel Day Yet! AC Chair Train | Vrindavan to Agra, India
Today we leave Vrindavan and make our way to Agra! Thanks to the help of some locals, we hopped on a tuk tuk from Vrindavan to Mathura. We rode an AC Chair Car from Mathura to Agra and it was a short 35 minute trip that also provided us with a meal. Once we arrived in Agra, we took another tuk tuk to our hostel where we had stunning views of the Taj Mahal from the hostel rooftop.

Mughalsarai Junction, officially known as Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction,(station code: DDU, formerly MGS) is a railway station in the town of Mughalsarai in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The station contains the largest railway marshaling yard in Asia. Mughalsarai yard cater to around 450–500 trains in a month.The Gaya–Mughalsarai section is the busiest section in the Indian Railways and in fact it is the life line of the country. All trains including premium category east bound Rajdhani trains and Duronto trains halt (makes it unique in entire Indian Railway Network; which distinguishes it from other major railway stations like Prayagraj junction, Bhopal junction, Agra Cantt, Gwalior junction, Kharagpur, Nagpur etc.) at this station. Major installations in Mughalsarai include electric locomotive shed holding 147 locomotives, diesel locomotive shed holding 53 locomotives, wagon ROH shed and a 169-bed divisional hospital.
The Patna–Kota Express or PNBE-Kota Express (Hindi: पटना – कोटा एक्सप्रेस) is a Express train of the Indian Railways, which runs between Patna Junction of Patna, the second largest city of eastern India and the capital of Bihar and Kota Junction of Kota, the coaching city of Rajasthan. This train is infamous for its consistent unpunctual behavior and hence, it is one of the most delayed train operated by ECR.
Train number 13237, 13239 depart from Patna Junction at 11:50, reaching Kota Junction the next day at 12:55. Train number 13238, 13240 departs from Kota at 18:10 and reach Patna the next day at 21:20.
